$155,500-$249,000 USD

- Design the blueprint for how marketing data is collected, connected, and activated across Chewy.
- Build the foundation for advanced analytics, experimentation, and personalization by creating scalable and reliable data models.
- Partner with engineers, data scientists, and analysts to bring data to life in ways that help marketers make smarter, faster decisions.
- Champion data quality and trust, ensuring that every report, dashboard, and model is powered by reliable, well-structured data.

- Act as a connector, bridging the gap between business needs and technical possibilities to unlock new opportunities for growth.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 10+ years of experience designing data systems and architectures - ideally with large-scale customer or marketing data.
- Deep expertise in data modeling (relational, dimensional, and NoSQL) and building for both analytics and operational needs.
- Strong experience with modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.) and data pipelines (dbt, Airflow, Kafka, etc.).
- Familiarity with martech and adtech ecosystems (CRM, CDPs, attribution tools, and digital media platforms).
- A collaborative mindset - you thrive in cross-functional environments and know how to translate complex problems into clear solutions.
- A strong grasp of data governance, security, and compliance, with an ability to balance innovation with responsibility.

- Hands-on work with real-time data pipelines that power personalization or triggered campaigns.
- Experience supporting machine learning pipelines in production environments.
