What you’ll do

As a Principal Engineer - AI/ML, you will serve as a senior individual contributor, responsible for overseeing technical decisions and directing the architecture of AI/ML-related systems and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of AI/ML solutions that align with our strategic goals. Specifically, you will:

• Lead the design and development of scalable AI/ML architectures and systems
• Make critical technical decisions to guide the direction of AI/ML projects
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, product teams, and compliance to integrate AI/ML solutions into existing and new products
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance of AI/ML systems
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in AI/ML development

What’s Required

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• 10-15 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Extensive experience in AI/ML engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
• Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

The annual base salary range for this role is $300,000-$400,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
