We are looking for a Staff Product Manager, AI to shape how Hostaway uses AI across our product.

This role is for someone who is excited about AI, understands how modern AI products are built, and has the platform mindset to define the foundations other teams will build on. You do not need to be a data scientist or ML engineer, but you should be comfortable with concepts like LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, tool calling, agents, model tradeoffs, and AI evaluation.

You will help Hostaway turn AI ideas into a scalable AI platform: reusable capabilities, tools, and standards that Product and Engineering teams can use to build customer-facing AI solutions faster and more reliably.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, customer-facing teams, and leadership to identify high-value AI opportunities, guide other PMs, and ensure AI features solve real customer problems. This role combines AI curiosity, strong product judgment, and platform thinking.

• Define and own the roadmap for Hostaway’s AI platform foundations, including shared capabilities, tools, and standards that other teams can build on.

• Run continuous discovery across technical and product stakeholders to identify where shared investments will create the most leverage.

• Prototype AI capabilities hands-on: build working proofs of concept with LLMs, agents, and evals yourself before asking teams to invest, and ship code when it's the fastest path to learning.

• Identify where AI can create meaningful customer and business value across Hostaway’s product ecosystem.

• Partner with Engineering, Design, Data, and customer-facing teams to turn AI opportunities into clear, shippable initiatives.

• Guide other Product Managers on how to use AI effectively, helping them shape strong use cases and avoid low-value AI features.

• Translate customer and internal stakeholder needs into reusable AI capabilities such as prompting, RAG, tool calling, agents, evaluation, observability, safety, and cost management.

• Prioritize AI investments based on customer impact, internal team needs, technical feasibility, cost, reliability, and scalability.

• Define how success, quality, and reliability are measured for AI-powered features and platform capabilities.

• 7+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, platform products, or complex workflow products.

• Strong practical understanding of AI products, including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, tool calling, agents, model tradeoffs, evaluation, cost, reliability, and latency. You do not need to be a data scientist or ML engineer, but you should be curious, hands-on, and eager to keep learning.

• You build with AI as part of your daily workflow, and you’ve personally prototyped LLM-powered features, including prompts, agents, and evals, with AI coding tools, not just specced them.

• Ability to translate customer and stakeholder needs into reusable AI capabilities that other teams can build on, while remaining strongly focused on end-customer value rather than purely technical platform work.

• Strong product judgment, with the ability to connect AI opportunities to real customer problems and business value, and separate practical use cases from hype.

• Ability to guide and influence other Product Managers, engineers, and senior stakeholders without direct authority, bringing clarity to ambiguous product and AI discussions.

• Strong communication skills, an AI-native mindset, and comfort working in fast-changing areas where the right answer is not always obvious.
