About Deel Mobility

Mobility is one of the most strategically important services within Deel's platform: a native, end-to-end immigration product that sits alongside payroll, compliance, contracts and HR in a single ecosystem. Our vision is to become the biggest mobility desk in the world.

This is not a simple product. Mobility spans multiple user types (employees, employers, contractors), visa categories, jurisdictions and legal frameworks. We manage employer-sponsored and self-sponsored visas, pre-hire eligibility assessments and business travel authorisations — all integrated into the broader Deel platform experience.

The product has to serve three very different needs at once: an applicant navigating one of the most stressful moments of their life; a client demanding visibility and value; and operations teams who need efficiency at scale.

The Role

We're looking for a Staff Product Manager — a senior, hands-on individual contributor — to take full ownership of product strategy and delivery within Deel Mobility. This is a high-autonomy role with real scope to shape and evolve a product that sits at the heart of one of the world's fastest-growing HR platforms.

You'll make high-stakes product calls under significant ambiguity, drive alignment across engineering, design, legal and operations without direct authority, and set the standard for product craft across the team. Immigration expertise is not required — what matters is the ability to learn fast, think in systems, and build products that work in complex, regulated environments.

What You'll Do

Strategy & Impact

  • Own the roadmap. Connect Mobility's strategy to Deel's broader platform objectives. Make hard trade-offs, shape org-level direction, and adapt without losing team alignment.

  • Define the right metrics. Set success frameworks across teams, run disciplined experiments, and use data to make confident decisions and course-correct quickly.

Product Execution

  • Translate complexity into great experiences. Turn multi-jurisdiction legal frameworks and multi-user workflows into intuitive, scalable platform features.

  • Build AI-powered automation. Ship features for document handling, eligibility checks, compliance tracking and case management — using AI in how you work, not just what you build.

  • Drive delivery at pace. Maintain momentum across teams, unblock where needed, and balance speed with quality.

Leadership & Influence

  • Build cross-functional alignment. Influence decisions across engineering, design, legal, operations and commercial — and manage exec-level stakeholders with clarity.

  • Elevate PM craft. Share frameworks, raise the bar on discovery and execution, and actively develop the product thinking of those around you.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Significant overall product experience, including at least 4 years in a Staff, Lead or Principal IC role — with a track record of cross-team or vertical-level impact.

  • Proven ability to make high-stakes product calls under significant ambiguity with broader organisational impact.

  • Experience owning complex products at scale: multi-product, multi-user, multi-market or platform-level — in B2B or B2B2C environments.

  • Strong product craft: customer empathy, sharp prioritisation, and confident decision-making across UX, technical feasibility and commercial impact.

  • Skilled at product discovery — qualitative and quantitative — and translating insight into clear problem statements.

  • Proven cross-functional influencer: able to drive alignment and manage senior stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Uses AI tools to accelerate team-level delivery and decision-making, not just personal productivity.

  • Structured communicator — able to set the standard across teams and align at exec level.

  • High agency and ownership — comfortable carrying organisational ambiguity and setting the pace.

Nice to Have

  • Background in a regulated or compliance-heavy domain: fintech, HR tech, legal tech, logistics, health tech or similar.

  • Founder or early-stage startup experience — you've shaped a product from scratch, own the full picture, and know what it takes to build fast with limited resources.

  • Exposure to multi-sided platforms or service-layer products.

  • Breadth across multiple industries — cross-domain experience is genuinely valued.

Total Rewards

Our workforce deserves fair and competitive pay that meets them where they are. With scalable benefits, rewards, and perks, our total rewards programs reflect our commitment to inclusivity and access for all.

Some things you’ll enjoy

  • Stock grant opportunities dependent on your role, employment status and location

  • Additional perks and benefits based on your employment status and country

  • The flexibility of remote work, including optional WeWork access

As part of our hiring process, we primarily rely on interviews and role-related assessments. In limited cases, we may also consider informal background information relevant to the role, in line with our privacy and fairness obligations.
