Job Description

The STARZ Data Products & Engineering team is seeking a software engineering intern who’s excited to
work on modern, cloud-oriented enterprise data systems that help drive our company forward. You’ll be
working in a challenging and exciting environment with some remarkably sharp people from around the
world, and will be learning about AWS, software engineering, containerized applications, ETL/ELT,
databases and data warehousing, data visualization and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Gather pipeline requirements
  • Design a data extraction and delivery process
  • Build data export and delivery pipelines
  • Create documentation outline the pipeline architecture and functionality
  • Learn under the guidance, support, and mentorship of the data products and team
     

Qualifications

  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Growth-minded, self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with a high-level programming language like C#, Python, or Java

Compensation Data
The pay rate for this internship is $27/hr.

Important Dates

The STARZ Summer 2026 Internship program dates are: June 15, 2026 – August 21, 2026
All interns are required to attend orientation on Monday, June 15, 2026.

Details

  • Regular business hours are 9 AM – 6 PM Monday-Thursday and Friday 9 AM – 1 PM
  • Interns must not work more than 36 hours per week
  • Interns must be enrolled in a college or university and classified as rising juniors or seniors
  • Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
  • All internships are paid
