THE ROLE

Location: Remote within GA, IL, MA, NJ, NY, NC, PA or TX | Occasional Travel Required

We are seeking a dynamic Strategic Account Manager with a strong commitment to growth through innovative products and solutions to join our team. As a member of the North America Regional Team, you will be instrumental in driving Equiem's expansion.

Reporting to the Global Sales Director, this is a remote role that allows you to work from Eastern or Central, North America. However, occasional travel and in-person meetings will be part of your role. We understand the importance of work-life balance and will support you in managing your professional and personal commitments

As the Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in cultivating and managing relationships at the portfolio level within your assigned customer accounts. Your direct responsibility is to ensure the retention and growth of revenue, making a significant impact on the sustained success of our initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

1. Pipeline & Revenue Growth:

    • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring a healthy flow of opportunities.
    • Lead in key deals, managing top-tier negotiations.
    • Analyze sales metrics to identify bottlenecks and opportunities.
    • Provide accurate revenue forecasting and assess deal closure probabilities.

2. Customer & Partner Relationships:

    • Foster long-term relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
    • Participate in high-stakes customer meetings to drive deals and renewals.

3. Cross-Department Collaboration:

    • Align with the Business Development and Marketing teams to optimize lead generation.
    • Work closely with Product teams to provide insights that shape product enhancements.

4. Market Intelligence & Strategy:

    • Stay informed on industry trends, market shifts, and the competitive landscape.
    • Gather customer and sales team feedback to refine go-to-market strategies.

5. Reporting & Communication:

    • Report on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and progress towards goals to the global leadership team.
Requirements

What will you bring to the table?

  • Over 3 years of experience in client-facing roles, preferably in proptech SaaS sales
  • Results-Driven - A resilient, goal-oriented mindset capable of driving revenue growth and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Proven ability to conduct effective meetings that drive client decisions, gather necessary information for service execution, and provide informative feedback
  • Proficiency in reporting performance using company tools/systems, with a keen eye for identifying areas/services for improvement
  • Industry Experience - Knowledge of commercial property, asset management, or leasing is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) tailored to diverse audiences, adjusting the message based on the recipient's role
  • Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally, with the ability to influence teams and individuals
  • Exceptional prioritisation skills to ensure timely meeting of deadlines
