The Opportunity
We are seeking a proven Strategic Accounts Onboarding Manager to personally lead onboarding for our most strategic accounts — and simultaneously build the program, playbooks, and infrastructure that will define how wealth.com scales its onboarding function. This is a dual role: you will be both a practitioner and a builder. On one hand, you will be the primary point of contact for our highest-value enterprise clients — RIAs, broker-dealers, and private wealth firms — delivering a white-glove onboarding experience that sets the tone for long-term partnership. On the other, you will serve as a strategic thought partner to leadership, designing the frameworks, training assets, in-product resources, and playbooks that allow our Onboarding Specialists to execute consistently at scale.

This role requires deep fluency in the wealth management industry. Our strategic clients span RIA, BD, and private wealth channels — and this person needs to walk into those conversations with genuine domain expertise, not just a product script.

Key Responsibilities

  • Personally lead onboarding for strategic accounts — RIAs, broker-dealers, and private wealth firms — delivering white-glove experiences that accelerate time-to-value and drive long-term retention

  • Build and own the onboarding strategy: define the post-sale journey, white-glove service model, tiering framework, and success milestones from kickoff through full adoption

  • Develop the onboarding infrastructure — playbooks, training assets, in-product resources, client-facing documentation, and scalable frameworks — that enable Onboarding Specialists to execute consistently without reinventing the wheel on every engagement

  • Manage and develop the Onboarding team, providing coaching, clear ownership, and a structure that scales as the team and client base grows

  • Partner with Sales to ensure strategic accounts are handed off with full context — and that the transition from close to onboarding feels seamless to the client

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Support to surface onboarding friction, advocate for in-product improvements, and reduce time-to-value across the client base

  • Identify opportunities to build self-service and scalable onboarding experiences — so the team can continue to deliver quality as volume grows without proportional headcount increases

  • Define and track onboarding KPIs: time-to-value, activation rates, onboarding completion rates, and early retention indicators — and use that data to continuously improve the program

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise onboarding, implementation, or customer success within wealth management, fintech, or financial services SaaS

  • Deep knowledge of the RIA, broker-dealer, and/or private wealth space — you understand how these firms operate, how advisors think, and what drives adoption of new technology in this industry

  • Proven track record of building or scaling an onboarding program — not just delivering onboardings, but designing the systems and playbooks behind them

  • Demonstrated success managing strategic enterprise relationships with a white-glove service model — senior stakeholders, complex implementation timelines, and multi-team coordination

  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members with a focus on developing structure and ownership

  • Strong strategic thinker who can operate at both the individual account level and the program level simultaneously

  • Builder mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, energized by the challenge of creating scalable infrastructure where little currently exists

  • Excellent communicator — able to translate complex product functionality into clear, compelling training and enablement materials for financial advisor audiences

Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive salary.

  • Hybrid work arrangement in New York City (3x a week)

  • Excellent medical, dental, and vision insurance options, with low-cost premium structures that demonstrate our commitment to offering great value to our employees.

  • 100% company-paid basic life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance.

  • 100% paid parental leave upon eligibility.

  • Company equity managed through Carta.

  • 401k with match and 100% vesting upon hire.

  • Flexible PTO in an environment where taking time off to relax or recharge is supported and encouraged.

  • Take time off for holidays—and yes, your birthday counts too. Celebrate, relax, and recharge without thinking twice.

  • Free estate planning for life!
