The Team

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Strategic Communications Lead for Consumer Hardware to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy for Ledger's consumer products, encompassing both Ledger signers and the Ledger Wallet app & services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for consumer technology, a proven track record in PR and communications, and a desire to help shape a new and evolving industry. This role can be based in either London or New York.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Develop and implement a robust, global communications strategy for Ledger's consumer hardware and services, aligning with overall business objectives.

  • Lead and manage review campaigns, ensuring positive and impactful coverage of our products.

  • Design and execute new media seeding campaigns to drive awareness and adoption.

  • Oversee participation in gift guides, product awards, and other strategic editorial opportunities.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong, trusted relationships with consumer technology media, journalists, and industry analysts.

  • Secure marquee articles and a consistent cadence of coverage for Ledger's consumer technology products.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with tech, product, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand positioning.

What we’re looking for:
  • 10+ years of experience in consumer technology PR and communications, with experience working on hardware products.

  • Demonstrated history of securing top-tier media coverage and a regular cadence of articles for consumer tech products.

  • Exceptional relationships with consumer technology media and journalists.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies.

  • Experience running successful review campaigns, new media seeding campaigns, gift guides, and awards programs.

  • Strong understanding of the digital asset and blockchain space (preferred, but not required).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Based in London or New York.
