About Faire

Faire is an online wholesale marketplace built on the belief that the future is local — independent retailers around the globe are doing more revenue than Walmart and Amazon combined, but individually, they are small compared to these massive entities. At Faire, we're using the power of tech, data, and machine learning to connect this thriving community of entrepreneurs across the globe. Picture your favorite boutique in town — we help them discover the best products from around the world to sell in their stores. With the right tools and insights, we believe that we can level the playing field so that small businesses everywhere can compete with these big box and e-commerce giants.

By supporting the growth of independent businesses, Faire is driving positive economic impact in local communities, globally. We’re looking for smart, resourceful and passionate people to join us as we power the shop local movement. If you believe in community, come join ours.

  • Translate how growth oriented investment activities impact overall company financial performance.
  • Communicate the financial narrative of growth investment activities to internal and external stakeholders.

This role will require the ability to spot opportunities/risks, develop hypotheses, pressure test inputs, forecast outputs and steer in-depth analyses to translate data into insights and make recommendations to Faire’s leadership team. The individual will partner closely with the several teams that have the mandate to drive new customer growth at Faire (Retailer Growth, Brand Growth, Sales, Marketing, New Market Expansion, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Corporate or Strategic Finance, ideally in partnership with teams driving new customer acquisition growth.
  • Exposure to all forms of growth investment allocation at a fast growing technology business. The ideal candidate would have finance business partnership experience across Sales, Marketing and R&D.

  • A get things done mindset - you are resourceful and not afraid to roll up your sleeves when necessary to move forward tactically. Your approach to monitoring performance balances fidelity with execution velocity.
  • Strong people and project management skills - experience growing and leading a team; can structure and manage complex cross-functional projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Sharp attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or other relevant field.
