About Tribe AI

At Tribe, we're on a mission to help enterprises realize the value of AI for their business. Every large enterprise wants to use AI to transform how they operate — but many don't have the capabilities to do it. That gap is our opportunity.

We're an AI-native services company that helps enterprises build and deploy best-in-class AI products that deliver real business impact. We partner closely with OpenAI and Anthropic, giving us rare visibility into the most advanced models, roadmaps, and GTM strategies in the world.

About The Role

We're hiring a strategic finance leader. Tribe is growing roughly 4x year over year and is profitable — and we need the person who turns that momentum into a rigorously planned, metrics-driven business. You'll report directly to our CEO and operate as an extension of her: building the company financial model, establishing the planning and metrics cadence the leadership team runs on, and serving as the analytical lead for the whole company. This is a hands-on keyboard role from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Strong cross-functional partnership:

  • Partner with Sales, RevOps, Marketing, and Engineering as the connective tissue between Finance and the rest of the company

  • Partner cross-functionally with GTM, business unit leads, and Product to translate business strategy into financial outcomes and tradeoffs

  • Facilitate executive meeting cadences and OKR processes to drive cross-functional alignment

Analytical support and leadership:

  • Drive strategic analyses that inform pricing, investment, and competitive decisions, translating complex data into clear recommendations

  • Develop investment frameworks for evaluating M&A, partnerships, and growth initiatives

  • Take on high-impact ad hoc projects that don't fit neatly into a job description but provide outsized leverage to the business

Build 0-to-1 infrastructure:

  • Help build the financial infrastructure for a company scaling fast, including owning the company’s financial forecast

  • Develop and implement core KPI dashboards and performance tracking to guide operational and strategic decisions

About You
  • Strong financial foundation: experience in banking, private equity, or growth-stage VC, and you know your way around a financial model.

  • Experience in biz ops or strategic finance at a high-growth startup (Series B and beyond) and know what hypergrowth feels like from the inside.

  • More than FP&A: you don't just run the model — you orient the cadence of the entire business around it and drive decisions with it.

  • Hands-on and high-leverage: you do the work yourself and don't need headcount before you can be effective.

  • Energized by ambiguity: nothing here is settled, everything is a puzzle, and you find that exciting rather than stressful.

Why Join Us
  • Join at an inflection point in the business - we're in hyperscale mode on every dimension in the business.

  • Work directly with the CEO on the highest-priority problems in the company.

  • We're profitable, so the growth you're planning is funded by the business itself.

Location

New York strongly preferred, open to remote candidates.
