What We Do

Wagmo is a new type of pet health company focused on empowering and inspiring responsible pet parenting through top-tier pet benefits provided by employers. From everyday care to rainy-day emergencies, we offer tech-enabled solutions that are optimized for value and flexibility so that our pet parents always feel confident that they are giving their pets the care they deserve.

What’s Important To Us

We solve hard problems all day long but hang out with dogs while we do it. We value authenticity and efficiency and have no time for egos. We prioritize performance over pedigree, compensate fairly, and never take ourselves too seriously. Our values are core to who we are and how we operate. We talk about them all the time. These are not just things posted on a wall. We will interview for them, hold each other accountable to them, and make sure we work with every single person we interact with in a way that's consistent with these values.

About The Role

As the Strategic Partnerships Senior Manager / Lead, you’ll own and grow Wagmo’s most important enterprise partnerships. You’ll set partnership strategy and roll up your sleeves to execute it - blending strategic relationship management with hands-on activation to drive adoption, engagement, and revenue across our partner ecosystem.

You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to activate partners, launch co-marketing initiatives, and build scalable playbooks that support long-term success.

Location: NYC hybrid preferred (3 days/week); will help pay for relocation!

Core Responsibilities
  • Own and grow Wagmo’s largest enterprise partnerships, building deep, long-term relationships and serving as a trusted strategic advisor

  • Set partnership strategies and joint business plans, and then execute the initiatives needed to drive enrollment, adoption, engagement, and revenue

  • Identify high-impact opportunities by understanding each partner’s business, KPIs, and internal structure across teams and channels

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enable partner success, delivering co-marketing, partner enablement, and activation initiatives, including tools and messaging for partner-facing teams

  • Ensure partner workflows and processes are scalable, accurate, and efficient, while tracking performance and developing playbooks that support long-term growth and retention

What You’ll Need To Be Successful
  • 5+ years of experience owning and growing strategic partnerships or enterprise accounts; bonus points for experience in benefits, healthcare, HR tech, insurance, or SaaS.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders across partner and internal teams.

  • Proven ability to drive partner-led growth, adoption, or revenue outcomes.

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-moving, hands-on environment.

  • Comfort using data, insights, and playbooks to optimize performance and inform decisions.

  • Excels in fast-paced, evolving environments and can build structure from ambiguity

Why Consider This Role?
  • Be responsible for the most important strategic accounts for the business.

  • Revolutionize the pet health industry by shaping solutions that improve the lives of pets and their families.

  • Join a rapidly growing, VC-backed startup where ownership, impact, and collaboration drive success.

  • Work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment—this is not a traditional 9-to-5 job, but one that offers flexibility and autonomy in exchange for dedication and impact.

  • Dental, vision, voluntary life, short-term disability and long-term disability

  • Unlimited paid time off & extended holiday break

  • 12 weeks parental time off
