Job Summary & Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Related Field preferred
  • A minimum of 1-year progressive experience in a related field required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of management and leadership experience, preferably in a Professional Services or staff augmentation environment.
  • Strong knowledge of and proven experience with outsourcing/managed service engagements. Experience in the staffing or recruiting industry a huge plus!
  • Proven experience interacting with large, enterprise clients.
  • Strongly prefer candidates interacting with clients within the Telecom and/or Media industry. 
  • Prior experience managing engineering teams or technical staff in a project execution capacity.
  • Proven ability monitoring and managing project financials and reporting.
  • Ability to work both independently and solve customer-facing problems and also as part of a high performing, cross-functional matrixed team.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $84,400 - $105,500. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.

What will you be doing? 

The Strategic Resourcing Engagement Manager will work with internal partners and customers to manage qualified staff for our Strategic Resourcing engagements. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for developing a strategy and plan to handle future growth in the various technical verticals, regions and customer base through capacity planning, training, and process improvement. The successful manager will also provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to their resources as they execute their assigned engagements.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Day-to-day management and leadership for our consultants placed onsite with customers. This includes:

  • Onboarding and offboarding
  • Regular meetings and communications
  • Status reporting and monitoring engagement health and financials
  • Technical and business support, and be the escalation point for ANY issue related to our consultant, their engagement and our customer.
  • SME on all WWT offerings, tools and processes and encourage resource involvement within WWT
  • Coaching & mentoring
  • Reinforcement of WWT value, business practices, ecosystem and Core Values

Teach, reinforce and monitor WWT reach back in all forms including the Reach Back Guide community, overall wwt.com and the ATC, the Command Center, our technical WWT experts, Udemy and more.

  • Goal is to maintain at least a 50% platform adoption rate for your team at all times
  • Encourage participation in reach back efforts including our regular reach back calls, technical/virtual team meetings, use of the Reach Back Guide and discussion forums, content creation, and more.
  • Create and implement new reach back strategies consistently

Relationships and communication with the cross-functional WWT team including Account Managers, CSEs and Services Sales, Resource Management, the larger SEM team, Project Analysts, ATC and Architect teams, etc.

Establish solid relationships with our customer stakeholders.

  • Grow the Strategic Resourcing business through continued displays of adding value to the customer. Ascertain additional staffing needs or business opportunities and gain an understanding of the customer environment, upcoming projects and client initiatives that WWT might be able to assist with. Regularly relay this to Services Sales and the Account Teams.
  • Regular check-ins, manages issues/concerns, and provides feedback to customers and their team members.
  • Provide weekly status reports to sales account teams and customers.

SEM is responsible for timely and quality data collection, input and integrity in our various reporting tools. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Creating and maintaining an accurate roster of consultants
  • Capacity planning and forecasting
  • Customer insights
  • Accurate rates and dates
  • Up-to-date partner information
  • Engagement start and end dates
