About the Team
Miro’s Source-to-Pay (S2P) Team is a collaborative group of hardworking problem solvers who know how to get things done quickly and optimally. We have a transparent and positive team culture built on continuous learning, development, empathy, and growth. We work collectively to manage spend, mitigate third-party risk, and provide world-class support as Miro's Sourcing, Procurement, AP and T&E Functions.

Within the S2P organization, our Sourcing team acts as the strategic bridge between Miro’s business needs and our global supplier network. We don’t just buy tools and services; we build the partnerships that fuel Miro's innovation. Our goal is to ensure every Mironeer has access to the best resources while driving maximum value and maintaining a high bar for quality and compliance.
About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Category Manager to join our Sourcing team. In this role, you will be the go-to partner for various business units—including IT, Marketing, and Professional Services—helping them navigate the full sourcing lifecycle. You’ll lead high-impact negotiations and build a robust supplier ecosystem that scales with Miro’s rapid growth. If you’re a master of building relationships and love the challenge of optimizing spend across diverse categories, we want to talk to you!

What you’ll do
  • Drive Category Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for IT, Marketing, Travel, and Professional Services to maximize value and minimize risk.
  • End-to-End Sourcing: Lead the full RFP process, from identifying business requirements and market research to final contract execution.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, helping them find the best solutions while ensuring alignment with Miro’s financial and operational goals.
  • Master Negotiations: Negotiate complex commercial terms and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure high-quality delivery and cost-efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the wider S2P team to refine our processes, making sourcing at Miro more seamless and data-driven for everyone.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: You will act as the primary liaison between our business units and internal experts. By partnering closely with Legal, Security, Finance, and other key pillars across global time zones, you’ll navigate complex approval workflows to ensure our sourcing processes remain seamless, compliant, and strategically aligned.
What you’ll need
  • Sourcing Expertise: Proven experience in category management, specifically within IT, Marketing, or Professional Services.
  • Negotiation Skills: A track record of leading successful negotiations and managing complex supplier relationships.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to use data to identify savings opportunities and drive informed decision-making.
  • Communication Pro: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities across different time zones.
What's in it for you
  • 401k matching + Competitive equity package
  • Excellent Medical, Dental and Vision health benefits
  • Fertility & Family Forming Benefits
  • Flexible time off
  • Lunch, snacks and drinks provided in the office
  • Wellbeing benefit and WFH equipment allowance
