Build the relationships, talent networks, and market intelligence that will power Ecosystem's future growth.

Who We Are

At Ecosystem we believe we should be accountable for results. That’s why we've integrated engineering and construction, seeing our projects through from design concept to implementation and commissioning. And that's how we can efficiently solve complex energy challenges in the built environment.

As we continue to expand across key markets in the United States and Canada, attracting exceptional talent is one of our most important strategic priorities.

Why This Role Matters

At Ecosystem, we want to understand talent markets before demand becomes urgent. We want to build relationships before a requisition exists. We want to identify people who could thrive here before they begin considering their next career move.

As a Strategic Talent Sourcer, you will help transform how Ecosystem attracts talent.

You will turn unfamiliar talent markets into trusted networks. You will develop relationships with exceptional professionals, uncover opportunities others might overlook, and generate insights that help us make smarter talent decisions.

Your focus will be the front end of talent acquisition: understanding the market, identifying talent, initiating conversations, and building long-term relationships. Once an active hiring process begins, you will partner closely with our recruiters, who lead candidate progression and selection.

What You Will Do

    Understand the Market

Learn Ecosystem’s business, growth priorities, and technical roles, then translate that understanding into market maps and talent insights across priority regions, industries, companies, and professional communities.

    Find and Engage Exceptional People

Proactively identify and approach professionals who may not know Ecosystem yet, using thoughtful, personalized outreach to start meaningful conversations and recognize potential beyond traditional career paths. Build trusted relationships with industry contacts, professional associations and other talent connectors.

    Build Pipelines That Last

Develop and nurture talent communities aligned with Ecosystem’s growth priorities, connecting strong prospects with recruiters when the timing is right. Maintain high-quality talent data and market intelligence that can be leveraged across the organization, and share recommendations that help business leaders understand talent market opportunities and challenges.

What You Will Bring

    • 5+ years of professional experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, business development, sales, market research, talent intelligence, partnership development, or another relationship-driven function.
    • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify, engage, and influence professionals through outreach, networking, and relationship-building.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to develop credibility with a wide range of stakeholders.
    • Intellectual curiosity and the learning agility to quickly understand new industries, technical roles, and talent markets.
    • Strong judgment and the ability to identify transferable capabilities, unconventional talent, and long-term potential.
    • A builder's mindset. You are comfortable working without a predefined playbook and enjoy creating structure where little exists today.
    • Excellent organizational skills and a disciplined approach to pipeline management, follow-up, and knowledge sharing.
    • Based in Washington DC, New York City, California or Columbus, Ohio with ability to travel periodically across our main locations.
    • Assets

      • Experience sourcing or recruiting within construction, engineering, infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, or other technical industries.
      • Experience building talent pipelines across highly specialized or competitive labor markets.
      • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, talent intelligence platforms, CRM systems, ATS platforms, or other sourcing tools.

What Ecosystem Offers

    • Annual base salary ranging from $80,000 to $125,000 dependant on experience, technical expertise, and skillset, as well as geographic location.
    • Generous paid time off: minimum of 15 vacation days, 5 personal days, 10 public holidays, plus a week off to recharge during the end of year holidays.
    • 401K matching and comprehensive group insurance package (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long term disability)— including a High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) option with no employee payroll deductions.
    • Thriving people-first culture: we put our values in action in DEI, CSR, Innovation, and Social committees. We celebrate our successes together at Ecofest- watch the video here.
    • An opportunity to help shape the future of talent acquisition within a growing North American organization.
    • Join a mission-driven, stable organization with over 30 years of experience modernizing the built environment- delivering guaranteed results and generating over 30% in energy savings!
