As a Strategy & Planning Manager, oversee strategic planning, streamline processes, partner with stakeholders, analyze data, and create compelling communications for senior management.
Block is one company built from many blocks, all united by the same purpose of economic empowerment. The blocks that form our foundational teams - People, Finance, Counsel, Hardware, Information Security, Platform Infrastructure Engineering, and more - provide support and guidance at the corporate level. Every challenge creates possibilities, and we need different perspectives to see them all. Bring yours to Block.
The Role
The Strategy & Planning team, part of Block's Business Operations function, helps set the company's strategic direction and builds the systems, processes, and rhythms that drive operational excellence. As a senior Individual Contributor on the Strategy & Planning team, you will serve as a strategic thought partner to executives and senior leadership, owning company-wide planning, evolving critical operating rhythms, and driving the decisions that shape Block's strategic direction and investments.

- Comfort operating with VP, SVP, or C-suite stakeholders, including navigating disagreement and tradeoffs
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data in SQL or Excel into clear, decision-ready insights in Google Slides, Figma, or Mode Dashboards-not just analysis
- Demonstrated knowledge and curiosity about Block's products, ecosystem, and mission of economic empowerment
