Who You Are

Spot & Tango is looking for a Strategy & Innovation Associate to join our NY HQ team! In this role you will report directly to the Sr. Strategy & Innovation Manager and work closely with the CFO who leads the strategy function. You are a detail-oriented, highly analytical thinker comfortable with both quantitative and qualitative problem solving. As a member of the strategy team, you will work cross functionally across all departments, defining and executing strategies to support our continued growth. You have top-tier education and professional experience and are excited to join a fast-paced, high-growth, start-up!

Responsibilities

• New product development: Develop and launch new products including ideation, identification and development of key product attributes, product positioning and establishing supply chain
• Go to market: Work closely with Marketing, Customer experience and Operations team to bring new product to market
• Commercial growth: Bring insights and ideas to bear to support the success of new product launches through analyzing existing performance and adapting tactics go to market tactics
• Market insights: Lead consumer and competitor analysis to inform company strategy
• Strategic projects: Contribute to cross-functional strategic projects (e.g. customer experience, growth/margin expansion opportunities and channel expansion)

Requirements

• 2 years work experience in management consulting
• Extensive experience conducting quantitative analyses, synthesizing insights, and effectively communicating to relevant stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
• Comfortable working and communicating with employees at senior levels of the organization, including the CEO, COO, CFO, and other senior leaders.
• Exceptional work ethic and ability to independently create and drive workstreams in a fast-paced, startup environment
• Dog lovers preferred!
