Student Assistant, Marketing – Nordics & Baltic

Role Purpose:
As Marketing Student Assistant in the Nordics team, you support our Nordic marketing team with day‑to‑day execution and coordination of campaigns, content, and events. You help us bring SteelSeries to life in the Nordic markets by keeping activities running smoothly, ensuring assets are up to date, and contributing with a fresh, digital‑savvy student perspective.

Tasks:

  • Campaign support
    • Help prepare and execute Influencer & PR campaigns.
    • Coordinate content and assets with internal stakeholders and agencies.
    • Update presentations and simple overviews of ongoing activities.
  • Retail & partner marketing support
    • Assist with preparation of digital/retail campaigns with our retail partners.
    • Help maintain asset overviews for key Nordic retail partners
    • Support with coordination of smaller partner activities and events
  • Practical coordination & admin
    • Keep trackers, overviews and shared folders updated.
    • Help with meeting preparation (agendas, notes, follow‑ups)
    • Handle ad‑hoc marketing tasks as they come up.

Necessary skills:

  • Marketing & communication
    • Ongoing studies in marketing, communication, business or similar (preferably someone with 2-3 years left of studying).
    • Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media
    • Strong written and spoken English; a Nordic language is a plus
  • IT & tools
    • Confident user of MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
    • Comfortable working in online tools (SharePoint/Teams or similar collaboration platforms)
  • Ways of working
    • Structured and reliable, able to juggle several small tasks
    • Curious, proactive and not afraid to ask questions
    • Collaborative mindset and comfortable working with many stakeholders
    • Preferably you are a gamer yourself, this helps you to understand products, and the audience.

AFTER ONE MONTH YOU WILL:
Have a basic understanding of our brands, Nordic priorities and key marketing activities. You’ll know the main stakeholders you work with, understand our shared folders and tools, and be able to handle simpler recurring tasks independently (e.g. updating overviews, preparing small asset requests, supporting basic social posts).

AFTER THREE MONTHS YOU WILL:
Confidently run smaller operational tasks from A–Z, contribute ideas to campaigns and activations, and proactively flag improvements in how we organize assets and campaigns. You will be a trusted support for the Nordic marketing team and a go‑to person for keeping materials, trackers and simple reports up to date.
