At New York Pilates, we're building more than studios; we're building one of the fastest-growing premium fitness brands in the country. Every day, thousands of students walk through our doors to experience world-class Pilates, exceptional hospitality, and a community unlike any other.

We're looking for an exceptional Studio Manager to lead one of our high-performing studios. This is more than a management role; it's an opportunity to grow a thriving membership business, lead and develop an incredible team, and create an experience that keeps students engaged for the long term.

Success in this role starts with growing membership, driving retention, and building a high-performing team that consistently delivers exceptional hospitality. If you're energized by coaching people, driving business results, and creating an experience that keeps members coming back, we'd love to meet you.

Who You Are

You believe exceptional studios are built by exceptional leaders.

You're a business-minded leader who understands that sustainable growth comes from delivering an incredible member experience while consistently driving membership sales and retention. You thrive in fast-paced environments, lead with accountability, and know how to motivate teams around measurable goals.

You build strong relationships with both members and your team. You coach Studio Representatives to confidently convert prospects into members, develop Shift Leads into future leaders, and partner with Instructors to create an exceptional in-studio experience that keeps members engaged.

You're comfortable using data to understand studio performance, identify opportunities, and take action. Whether improving conversion rates, increasing member retention, growing revenue, or optimizing daily operations, you're always looking for ways to make the business stronger.

Before You Apply

This role is probably a great fit if you:

  • Have 4+ years of leadership experience in boutique fitness, hospitality, retail, or another service-driven business
  • Have successfully led teams of 15+ employees while owning membership growth, revenue, and overall business performance
  • Have experience coaching teams to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Understand that member retention is just as important as member acquisition
  • Enjoy developing people, providing feedback, and holding teams accountable to high standards
  • Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Are highly organized and confident managing staffing, scheduling, payroll, and operational priorities
  • Are an excellent communicator who remains calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure
  • Have full-time availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

This role probably isn't the right fit if you:

  • Prefer working independently rather than leading and coaching a team
  • Aren't motivated by sales goals, membership growth, or business performance
  • Avoid accountability or difficult conversations
  • Struggle to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Prefer highly predictable days over dynamic, people-focused work
  • Aren't passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality and creating long-term member relationships
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $75,000–$95,000, plus performance-based bonus opportunities tied to studio performance.

Benefits
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and 401(k)
  • Complimentary New York Pilates membership
  • Employee merchandise discounts
  • Leadership development and opportunities for career growth
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful impact at one of the fastest-growing boutique fitness brands in the country
Ready to Apply?

We're looking for a leader who is excited to grow a business, build an exceptional team, and create a studio where members choose to come back week after week.

If you're passionate about driving membership growth, increasing retention, developing high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional hospitality, we'd love to hear from you.
