We Want You! 
New York Pilates is seeking a Studio Manager to lead one of our high-performing studios. This role is responsible for driving revenue and operational performance while delivering an exceptional student experience.

The Studio Manager functions as the primary operator of the studio, ensuring strong team performance, smooth daily operations, and consistent business results.

You will oversee daily studio operations and lead a team of Studio Representatives, Shift Managers, and Instructors. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, solutions-oriented leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and can manage a complex studio with a high volume of classes, instructors, and students.

This is a full-time leadership role that includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The Role

  • Drive Studio Performance: Monitor memberships, class utilization, and retail performance while supporting revenue growth and managing labor costs.
  • Lead the Team: Hire, train, and manage Studio Representatives, Shift Managers, and instructors while setting clear expectations and maintaining team accountability.
  • Manage Operations: Oversee instructor and staff scheduling, payroll coordination, and daily studio operations to ensure a smooth and consistent experience.
  • Maintain Studio Standards: Ensure the studio environment reflects New York Pilates’ brand standards while resolving student issues professionally.
  • Build Community: Foster a welcoming studio culture that supports both team performance and a strong student community.
 

Requirements:

  • 4–8+ years of management experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, or another service-driven environment
  • Experience managing teams of 15+ employees and owning daily operational performance, including staffing, scheduling, and studio results
  • Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Strong organizational and operational management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solutions-oriented with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Full-time availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
