About Arketa

Arketa is building the operating system for modern fitness and wellness. Our mission is to make wellness more accessible by empowering studios and wellness entrepreneurs to grow beyond in-person classes. We provide a powerful, all-in-one platform to manage and scale hybrid wellness businesses — whether online, in-person, or both.

With Arketa, studios can manage schedules, accept bookings and payments, build on-demand video libraries, host retreats, run automated marketing, and launch fully branded apps and websites. We make it simple for founders to deliver a seamless, professional experience across every customer touchpoint.

We’ve raised $15M in Series A funding and are growing quickly. It’s a unique moment to join us — we’re building a category-defining company in a fast-moving space, and we’re looking for teammates who are excited to help shape the future of wellness.

About the Role

We are hiring a Studio Operations & Launch Manager to support the opening and ongoing success of a luxury social wellness club in New York City, while also serving as a trusted operator and consultant to Arketa-powered studio owners.

This is a hands-on, hybrid role that blends:

  • Onsite studio leadership and hospitality

  • Backend operational consulting for studio owners

  • Office and environment management

You will play a critical role in launching and stabilizing a new studio, while also helping other studio owners improve their operations, systems, and day-to-day execution using Arketa. This role is ideal for someone who deeply understands how studios actually run — and enjoys helping others run them better.

This is not a passive or purely strategic role. You will be in the studio, in the tools, and in the details.

What You’ll DoStudio Leadership & Guest Experience
  • Act as a visible, calm, and professional leader on the studio floor

  • Set the standard for luxury hospitality, warmth, and operational excellence

  • Ensure every guest interaction reflects brand values and consistency

    • Systems setup and day-one playbooks

  • Identify operational gaps and implement practical, scalable solutions

  • Partner with leadership to ensure the studio opens on time, prepared, and confident

  • Help translate strategy into repeatable, day-to-day execution

Studio Owner Consulting & Backend Operations Support
  • Serve as a hands-on consultant to Arketa studio owners, especially during opening and early growth phases

  • Help owners configure and optimize their backend operations, including:

    • Scheduling, classes, and appointments

    • Memberships, pricing, and packages

    • Front desk workflows and automations

    • Sales flows, intake, and follow-up processes

  • Advise owners on operational best practices based on real-world studio experience

  • Identify common operational challenges and help document scalable solutions

  • Act as a bridge between studio owners, operations, and product feedback

  • Support membership acquisition, conversion, and retention efforts

  • Reinforce consultative, education-first sales conversations

  • Ensure studio teams are aligned on offers, pricing, and promotions

  • Monitor daily operational and revenue indicators and flag issues early

  • Help studios improve utilization and consistency through better systems, not just effort

Office & Environment Management
  • Ensure the studio and office are consistently clean, organized, and guest-ready

  • Coordinate cleaning, maintenance, and vendors

  • Monitor inventory and place supply orders (studio, office, and amenities)

  • Order team lunches and manage hospitality logistics

  • Plan and support internal team events and moments

  • Maintain a seamless connection between office operations and studio needs

Operations, Reliability & Compliance
  • Support scheduling, coverage planning, and shift readiness

  • Ensure accurate timekeeping and payroll inputs

  • Maintain operational standards across cleanliness, safety, and equipment

  • Document processes to reduce single-point dependency

  • Ensure compliance with NYC labor, safety, and operational requirements

Who You Are
  • 4–7+ years of experience in studio management, hospitality, wellness, fitness, or luxury service

  • Experience supporting studio openings, backend operations, or consulting with operators

  • Deep understanding of how studios run day-to-day — not just theoretically

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused

  • Comfortable balancing people leadership with systems and process work

  • Strong communicator who is warm, direct, and practical

  • Tech-savvy and excited to work deeply in operational tools

  • NYC-based and excited to be onsite and hands-on

Why This Role Is Special

  • You’ll directly support and advise studio owners using Arketa

  • You’ll influence both in-person experience and backend systems

  • You’ll have real ownership, visibility, and impact across the business
