The Marketing Intern supports Workiva’s Marketing philosophy by executing projects, coordinating details, and working cross-functionally across teams. This role provides hands-on experience across campaign execution, analytics, content creation, events, partner marketing, and growth initiatives, depending on the team you support.

What You'll Do

  • Optimize, refresh, and retire content as part of ongoing audit work

  • Formalize, refine, and add to the team’s AI prompt library to improve efficiency

  • Support monthly newsletter writing, compilation, and distribution

  • Assist with podcast projects, including writing episode summaries and building resource/YouTube pages

  • Take on day-to-day content tasks to free up team members for more strategic campaign work

What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field of study

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Self-motivated with a strong propensity for action, results, and continuous improvement

  • Ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure

  • Creativity, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skill

  • Writing, editing, and content development (Content Marketing)

Travel Requirements & Working Conditions 

  • Up to 10% travel 

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office

Sponsorship Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future
