WMS & ERP Integration Support:
Assist in mapping and documenting current workflows between WMS and ERP systems.
Collaborate with IT and operations teams to identify integration gaps and propose solutions.
Participate in testing and validation of system enhancements or new integrations.
Fleet Cost Optimization:
Analyze transportation and fleet data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Support the development of models to evaluate carrier performance, route efficiency, and fuel usage.
Assist in implementing initiatives to reduce logistics spend while maintaining service levels.
Process Development & Implementation:
Document existing logistics processes and identify areas for improvement.
Support the design and rollout of standardized operating procedures (SOPs).
Monitor pilot implementations and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with supply chain, operations, and finance teams to align logistics strategies with business goals.
Participate in team meetings and present findings or recommendations to stakeholders.
Reporting & Analysis:
Develop dashboards and reports to track key logistics KPIs.
Provide insights and summaries to support decision-making and strategic planning.
The following are required for the role
Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Program Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.
The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.
