Position OverviewThe Summer Financial Analyst will play an integral role in managing key financial processes and supporting strategic operations across departments. This internship position offers hands-on exposure to corporate finance, investor relations, and capitalization management, providing a strong foundation for a career in finance and business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Capitalization Table Management:
Maintain and update the company’s capitalization table, ensuring accuracy in ownership records and equity transactions. - Investor Relations Support:
Assist with investor communications, data requests, and due diligence materials for fundraising or corporate events. - Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Partner with legal, operations, and business development teams to support financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning. - Financial Data Analysis:
Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and models to support management decision-making. - Compliance & Documentation:
Help organize and maintain financial documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Currently obtaining a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial modeling or data analysis tools. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
