Position Summary
e.l.f. Beauty is seeking a Summer Intern, Business Insights to support retail and competitive analyses that inform key business decisions. In this role, you’ll work with point-of-sale and competitive data, manage and analyze datasets, and contribute insights on real business questions as they arise. This internship is ideal for someone who loves numbers, thinking critically, and learning by doing in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct retail analyses using point-of-sale and competitive data
- Manage, audit, and analyze datasets to ensure accuracy and usability
- Support ad-hoc analyses based on current business needs and priorities
- Translate data into clear insights that help inform decision-making
- Collaborate with team members on analyses tied to live business initiatives
Requirements:
- Must be a rising junior or senior at the time of the internship
- Must be available for the full internship period: June 1st - August 21st
- Growth mindset with a passion for numbers, curiosity, and eagerness to learn
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and comfort working with data
- Dynamic thinker who can adapt in a fast-paced, complex environment
- No prior beauty industry experience required — just excitement and interest in the space
- Familiarity with Excel required; basic knowledge of SQL is a plus (training available)
