About the Role 

We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, and entrepreneurial Marketing Intern based in New York City to support key brand initiatives and drive local market growth. This role blends brand marketing, content creation, and grassroots sales, offering hands-on experience across multiple aspects of a high-growth CPG company. 

The intern will own two primary projects while also supporting the broader marketing team across content, social media, and affiliate initiatives. 

What You’ll Do 

1. Matcha Truck Brand Ambassador (Primary Project) 

• Act as the face of Jade Leaf Matcha for our NYC-based matcha truck sampling program (June–July)  

• Develop and execute a social media strategy to generate buzz, excitement, and foot traffic to the truck  

• Create engaging, on-brand content (TikTok, Instagram, etc.) during events  

• Assist with on-the-ground execution of sampling events, including customer engagement and brand storytelling  

• Collaborate with the marketing team to amplify reach through influencers, partnerships, and real-time content 

2. Local Market Expansion (Sales + Marketing Project) 

• Identify and prospect local cafés, coffee shops, and specialty grocery stores in NYC  

• Support outreach efforts to introduce and position Jade Leaf Matcha products  

• Assist in developing pitch materials and outreach strategies  

• Track leads, conversations, and progress toward placements  

• Provide feedback and insights on market trends and customer needs 

3. General Marketing Support 

• Assist with content creation and approval workflows  

• Support social media strategy and execution, including trend research and ideation  

• Help manage and grow affiliate and influencer partnerships  

• Contribute to campaign brainstorming and execution across channels 

 What We’re Looking For 

• Based in New York City and available for in-person events  

• Strong interest in marketing, startups, and/or CPG brands  

• Robust knowledge and passion for matcha is a plus  

• Comfortable being on camera and engaging with customers  

• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset  

• Strong communication and organizational skills  

• Familiarity with social platforms (TikTok, Instagram) and content trends
