Oversee daily payments and banking operations, processing incoming/outgoing payments via Silverlake, managing loan bookings, extensions, and documentation, preparing amortization schedules and vouches, liaising with branches and correspondent banks, and ensuring regulatory and internal compliance.
The Operations Officer will report to the Operations Managers and will be part of the Operations team which is responsible for the bank’s day to day operations and payment's function.
- Responsible for monitoring/processing daily outgoing and incoming payments including manual, single, batch, urgent payments through Silverlake
- Ensures all payments are handled without internal/external rules, and cut of times and internal product requirements:
- Liaises with correspondent banking lending, closing dept. or Branches for all matters related
- Prepare payment vouches and fund loans in a timely matter.
- Book new loan on system and prepare amortization schedules and offering tickets to extend credit facility in a timely manner.
- Process loan extensions, modifications, and line of credit renewals on system
- Send payoff, demand, and collection letters to clients
- Pull daily report and correct any errors expediently
- Salary: $55k to $65k depending on experience

Qualifications
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 or 4- year college degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years of experience working with business/commercial banking processes is required
- Previous experience in a role related to bank transaction processing, operations specialist, mortgage processor, etc., is a plus
- Excellent judgement and independent thinking skills
- Maintains current an accurate knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulations and industry best practices, including BSA/AML regulations and guidelines.
- Knowledge of Office 365, Windows, Jack Henry Core is helpful.
