What you will do
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for evaluating demand and preparing accurate forecasts for specific business units or product lines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply and demand, manage forecasting systems, and analyze data to support inventory optimization and business performance:
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as marketing, sales, finance, and procurement to enhance end-to-end supply chain visibility, forecast accuracy, and demand planning processes.
- Utilize advanced data visualization tools and forecasting software to create dynamic dashboards and generate timely, accurate reports that provide real-time insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks, analyzing trends, and proposing creative solutions to streamline logistics operations and inventory management.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance with relevant regulations, and alignment with internal customer requirements throughout the demand planning and forecasting processes.
- Lead and facilitate forecast review meetings and pilot projects integrating emerging technologies such as IoT and blockchain to enhance supply chain transparency, traceability, and agility.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators related to quality, cost, delivery, and supplier performance to support scorecards and business reviews.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in supply chain analysis, demand planning, forecasting, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, finance, and operations.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills to lead forecast discussions and present findings to stakeholders.
- Working hours and holidays as per UAE time and calendar
Desired Qualifications
- Expertise in advanced analytical software (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to transform complex data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in forecasting software and advanced data analysis tools to support demand planning and inventory management.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and data integrity best practices within supply chain processes.
- Ability to develop and monitor performance metrics related to supplier and demand planning effectiveness.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills to address forecast variances and capacity planning challenges.
- Familiarity with statistical modeling techniques used in demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
- Proven ability to think strategically and innovate within fast-paced, evolving supply chain environments.
- Experience with emerging supply chain technologies and a passion for exploring cutting-edge solutions to traditional challenges.
