About Coral Care

Coral Care is a two-sided marketplace. On the demand side: families looking for speech, occupational, and physical therapy for their kids. On the supply side: 700+ licensed clinicians who see those kids in person, in the places they actually live. We operate in 9 states (MA, CT, NH, RI, PA, VA, TX, IL, NJ) and closed a $13M Series A in February 2026.

Marketplaces live and die on supply liquidity. That is the job.

The role

You own supply-side growth. How fast a newly onboarded clinician starts earning. How a lightly utilized one becomes fully utilized. How we keep supply active instead of quietly going dormant.

Think Rover host activation, Etsy seller growth, Dasher retention. Same problem, different network.

Equal parts strategy and execution. You will diagnose where supply stalls, design the intervention, run the test, and ship the winner across the network.

What you'll own

Four areas, each with a number you move.

1. Activation and time to first booking. Get new supply from onboarded to earning, fast. Own the activation funnel, find the friction, compress the lag. Metrics: time to first booking, activation rate.

2. Utilization growth. Move supply from one active match to a full, sustainable schedule. Design the nudges, incentives, and touchpoints that drive claim rate and expansion. Metrics: claims per active clinician, fill rate, match rate.

3. Liquidity and churn prevention. Silent churn is the quiet killer in a marketplace. Build the early-warning signals and the interventions that re-engage at-risk supply before demand goes unfilled. Metrics: retention, dormancy rate, reactivation.

4. Recognition and network engagement. Build the recognition systems and community touchpoints that make people want to stay and grow with the network. This is the top of the flywheel. Metrics: engagement, cohort retention over time.

Across all four: a steady experiment cadence (hypothesis, test, measure, scale) and the machinery behind it, including segmentation, cohort tracking, and lifecycle drips.

Who you are

  • You think in behavior, not just dashboards. You know the gap between what people say motivates them and what actually changes what they do.
  • You are strategic enough to set the roadmap and hands-on enough to build the spreadsheet, write the email, and read the cohort yourself. At our stage, you do both.
  • You would rather run a clean test than win an argument.
  • You are a clear, warm writer. A lot of this job is writing things busy people actually open.

Ideal background

  • 5 to 7 years changing behavior at scale, with a metric you can point to and say you moved it.
  • Strong plus: supply-side growth at a marketplace (Rover, Thumbtack, Care.com, Etsy, Instacart, Headway, Alma) or a product where people needed motivation rather than information (Noom, WW, Omada, Hinge Health, Whoop, Peloton, Calm).
  • Comfort with behavioral science frameworks (motivation, habit formation, incentive design) and the experimental rigor to back them up.
  • Data fluency. You can pull a cohort, read a funnel, and design an A/B test. SQL, Metabase, HubSpot or similar. Eagerness to learn our stack is the real requirement.

What this role is not

  • Not clinical. No license, no clinical background, no patient care. You will partner closely with our clinical team. You will not be part of it.
  • Not recruiting. You are not sourcing, screening, or interviewing clinicians for the network.
  • Not account management. You build systems that scale to hundreds of people, not a book of individual relationships.

What success looks like

  • By 30 days: you know the supply funnel cold, you have shipped your first experiment, and you have named the top one or two frictions killing time to first booking.
  • By 90 days: measurable movement on activation and utilization, plus a working early-warning system for dormancy.
  • By 6 months: the supply growth flywheel is yours end to end, and you can show it turning.
