We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Planning Analyst to join our team on a 6-month temporary assignment covering a maternity leaveThe Supply Planning Analyst will support day-to-day planning activities to help ensure components and finished goods are available to meet business demand.

 This role is based in our Manhattan office and requires 3 days per week on-site. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Create and maintain component trackers to monitor material availability and production readiness. 
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with Material Planning teams in the U.S. and China to track component status and address supply issues. 
  • Coordinate with vendors to expedite components and proactively track late materials to minimize supply disruptions. 
  • Partner with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely delivery of components to fillers and turnkey suppliers, as well as finished goods to distribution centers and warehouses. 
  • Support the supply planning process by reviewing inventory levels, demand forecasts, and replenishment requirements. 
  • Assist in managing supplier communications regarding purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supply constraints. 
  • Help investigate inventory discrepancies and work cross-functionally to reconcile the differences. 
  • Support inventory transfers between suppliers, fillers, warehouses, and third-party logistics partners. 

Qualifications 

  • 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Operations, Logistics, or a related analytical role. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis. 
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and external partners. 
  • Experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment preferred; beauty industry experience is a plus. 

What We Offer   

$33/hr - $40/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
