Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the US trading systems and be the go-to person for Trader support. 
  • Responsible for Client onboarding via CLSA’s FIX infrastructure, FIX certification, day to day operations of the US Fix infrastructure.
  • Analyze issues, debug logs, verify issue, draft requirement or solution, track resolution, verify and implement.
  • Provide technical expertise to internal teams regarding in-house- Execution Management System (EMS) (single stock and programs) that allows traders to interact with local exchanges to execute orders.
  • Prepare CLSA’s internal systems for the rollout of the new platforms and tools, while efficiently and effectively resolving complex system integration issues.
  • Day to day activities
    • Monitoring ITRS to make sure healthy prod environment and stability
    • FIX onboarding (new client setup)
    • Daily BAU tasks (investigating order rejects)
    • Handling queries from Trading desk, Risk, Compliance and operations
    • Running SQL queries to fetch trades or create reports
  • Testing complex scenarios in test environment, identifying issues, logging issues and following up with developer on release and implementing the change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Front Office Trading support and FIX support
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered
  • Extensive knowledge in OMS\EMS, FIX systems are a plus
  • Demonstrated familiarity with basic trading workflow, basic networking understanding
  • Ability to understand the needs of a trading desk including how to handle issues and new requirements
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, client serving, multi-tasking skills
  • Result-driven, self-motivated, proactive mindset, a team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to script in SQL
  • Ability to Script in any of the following (Batch, perl, shell, Poweshell, Python)
  • Ability to work in Linux terminal

Hours of Operation: 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM M-F

Some weekend activity mainly on Saturdays depending on software release or datacenter activity.

Salary Range:

$70,000-$90,000
