Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) Air Dominance has an exciting opportunity for a Support Coordinator to support Materials Management & Transportation in Patuxent River, MD
Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling & Inventory: Receiving, moving, storing, and inventorying parts, tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Logistics & Distribution: Issuing tools and materials, and using hand, power, automated, and electronic equipment such as lift trucks, tugs, scooters, saws, hoists, and cranes.
  • Production Support: Expediting and coordinating scheduled job assignments and clearing up bottlenecks in the production flow.
  • Packaging & Shipping: Packaging and shipping containers of various sizes, including properly bracing and blocking materials in transport vehicles.
  • Data Management: Utilizing electronic systems to track inventory, process parts, and maintain accurate data regarding production work orders.
  • Safety & Compliance: Reporting damaged, obsolete, or non-conforming tool crib items and ensuring compliance with safety, tool control, and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) regulations.

The following Physical Demands may be requirements of this job:
Limited (0-1 Hrs) Crawling, Lying Down (back, front, side), Forceful grasping, Occasional (1-3 Hrs) Requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and supporting up to 35lbs, bending at the waist, kneeling, crouching, squatting, reaching. The position may have frequent (3-6 hrs) exposure to noise. This position requires eye, hearing and other personal protective equipment. Occasional (1-3 Hrs) climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, squatting and working on ladders. Working on elevated and/or uneven surfaces. Exposure to noise, moving parts and occasional exposure to high/exposed places. Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling up to 35 lbs. Frequent standing, reaching, handling, and turning. The ability to operate a forklift, tug, scooter or other vehicles as necessary.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 1+ year experience in inventory, stock, or supply chain
  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Forklift Operator Experience
  • Experience using computers, including typing and utilization of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word)
  • 1+ year of experience in inventory control systems and maintenance recordkeeping systems, such as ERP, Ariba, CMES, Cribmaster, CTMA, and Microsoft Excel.

Additional Information:
  • The selected candidate must be able to work any shift, as assigned.
  • This is an hourly position governed by the IAM 837 Collective Bargaining agreement.
  • All new employees, rehires without seniority or transfers from outside of IAM 837 jurisdiction, shall be regarded as probationary during their first one hundred twenty (120) calendar days of employment. Once any required training has been completed all new employees will be considered on probation for a period of one hundred twenty (120) calendar days. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of any required training and the probationary period.

Summary pay range: $21.00/hourly - $49.78/hourly
