Reporting to the Director of Sustainability Disclosure the Senior Analyst – Sustainability will play a key role in shaping CSL's global sustainability reporting and disclosure program. Working with stakeholders across the business, you'll help deliver high-quality sustainability reporting, strengthen data governance, and support our commitment to building a healthier world through responsible and sustainable practices.

Main Roles & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the enterprise business owner of CSL's sustainability reporting platform and related data governance processes, establishing system controls, data quality standards, reporting methodologies and a multi-year roadmap to support evolving reporting requirements

  • Oversee data requirements for CSLs various sustainability disclosures, including CSL’s Annual Report, AASB S2 Report, CSRD, EU Tax, Website, and more.

  • Technical expert for CSL sustainability data, including the subject matter expert under GHG protocol standards

  • Work with CSLs various funcational departments to collect information required for the collection of environmental data, including data for Scope 3 data calculations

  • Manage CSLs annual audit program, this includes working with CSLs external auditor to setup meetings, chase up data owners and close out observations to meet global reporting timelines.

  • Lead sustainability data strategy and provide recommendations to support enterprise sustainability targets and disclosure obligations, including emissions modelling and the quanitification of initiatives which support the Sustainability strategy

  • Be an active member of the team, brining new ideas and helping the team navigate a rapidly changing data focus disclosure landscape

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, sustainability, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, GRI, IFRS) preferred

  • 7+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry or Big 4 highly preferred, including Financial Reporting, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, and Internal Controls, or Sustainability management, with a demonstrated track record of success in a similar role

  • Expertise in sustainability related disclosures and industry trends, and willingness to develop advanced expertise across evolving regulatory landscape

  • Influencing and partnering with various stakeholders (both senior leaders and junior team members) including third parties to align expectations, timelines, deliverables, and priorities amidst multiple demands, time pressures, and business changes, are critical to be effective in the role

  • Demonstrating strength in solving complex problems, ability to drive actions from analyses and insights, good judgment, and decision-making competencies are key success traits.

  • Strong communication skills and comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a sustainability / finance function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function

  • Commitment to environmental and social responsibility, with a passion for advancing sustainability goals within the organisation and broader community.

  • Experience of working in a complex supply chain environment

  • Proven track record of stakeholder management in complex, matrixed organisations

  • Proven track record of development and successful implementation of disclosure/reporting requirements, preferably relating to sustainability
