One of Pine's portfolio companies, Strategic Information Group, is looking for a dynamic and experienced SVP of Sales to join their executive leadership team.

Strategic Information Group (SIG) is a leading business consulting and technology services firm specializing in enterprise business applications and digital transformation. We help manufacturers and distributors optimize their operations through ERP implementations, business consulting, technology solutions, and ongoing services.

As Strategic continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Vice President of Sales to lead and scale our sales organization, accelerate revenue growth, and build a disciplined, predictable sales engine.

The Opportunity

The SVP of Sales will be responsible for leading Strategic's overall sales strategy and execution across new logo acquisition and existing customer growth. This leader will manage a team of hunters and farmers, establish clear sales accountability, strengthen pipeline and forecasting discipline, and partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to drive profitable growth.

The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader who has successfully scaled a sales organization and approximately doubled revenue, while maintaining a strong focus on sales process, customer relationships, and measurable results.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is comfortable operating in a growing organization, building processes, developing talent, and personally engaging in strategic opportunities. This full-time position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is a remote role.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute Strategic's sales strategy to achieve revenue, bookings, profitability, and growth objectives
  • Lead both new-logo sales and existing-account growth, with distinct strategies, coverage models, and quotas for each
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing sales organization, including account executives, business development/new-logo sellers, and account management professional
  • Establish a consistent and scalable sales methodology, including defined sales stages, qualification criteria, deal reviews, pipeline management, and forecasting
  • Implement and maintain disciplined sales processes and methodologies such as MEDDPICC or a comparable enterprise sales framework
  • Conduct regular pipeline and deal reviews and ensure accurate forecasting, strong opportunity qualification, and clean CRM data
  • Drive growth across Strategic's ERP consulting, implementation, managed services, and related technology offerings
  • Develop strategies to expand revenue within Strategic's existing customer base through cross-selling and account expansion
  • Build executive-level relationships with customers and prospects, particularly within manufacturing and distribution organizations
  • Partner closely with delivery and consulting leadership to ensure sales commitments align with delivery capacity, customer expectations, utilization, and profitability
  • Lead strategic negotiations and complex enterprise sales cycles from opportunity development through close
  • Develop relationships with ERP vendors and strategic partners and identify opportunities for joint selling and channel growth
  • Identify opportunities to expand Strategic's portfolio beyond ERP, including complementary solutions that improve manufacturing, quality, productivity, and operational performance
  • Establish sales metrics and KPIs that provide visibility into pipeline health, bookings, revenue growth, win rates, sales cycle, forecast accuracy, and team performance
  • Recruit, retain, mentor, and develop sales talent while building a scalable organization appropriate for a growing company
  • Work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team on annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic growth initiatives
  • Help align sales strategy with company profitability goals, including EBITDA performance
  • Provide regular reporting to executive leadership and, as appropriate, the Board of Directors

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive B2B sales experience, with significant experience leading sales organizations
  • Demonstrated success leading both new-logo/hunter and account management/farmer teams, with separate quotas and coverage responsibilities
  • At least 2+ years of sales leadership experience managing and developing a team
  • Proven track record of scaling a sales organization and delivering significant revenue growth, ideally approximately doubling revenue over a defined period of time
  • Experience selling and/or leading sales for mid-market ERP or enterprise business software
  • Strong preference for experience with QAD or NetSuite; experience with Epicor, Infor, Plex, IFS, Aptean, Acumatica, or comparable ERP platforms is highly relevant
  • Demonstrated experience selling into manufacturing and/or distribution organizations
  • Experience establishing a structured sales process with defined stages, pipeline management, deal reviews, forecasting, and sales methodology
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to understand the relationship between bookings, revenue, services delivery, margin, utilization, and profitability
  • Proven ability to recruit, coach, motivate, and hold sales teams accountable to measurable goals
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to engage CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, COOs, and other senior decision-makers
  • Ability to operate effectively in a growing, entrepreneurial environment where the leader may need to be both strategic and hands-on

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience carrying or managing a services/consulting sales quota, particularly in an ERP consulting or systems integration environment
  • Understanding of professional services economics, including margin, utilization, delivery capacity, and services profitability
  • Experience working with QAD and/or NetSuite vendor organizations or partner ecosystems, including co-selling or managing vendor-partner relationships
  • Experience selling complementary solutions beyond ERP, such as manufacturing productivity, shop-floor, quality management, or operational technology solutions
  • Experience cross-selling additional solutions into an established ERP customer base
  • Experience working in a private equity-backed organization or other high-growth environment
  • Experience reporting directly to a CEO and/or working with a Board of Directors
  • Experience in regulated or validated industries, including medical device, life sciences, automotive, food & beverage, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Technology, or a related field preferred

What Success Looks Like

  • Establish a predictable, measurable, and scalable sales process
  • Improve pipeline quality, sales visibility, and forecast accuracy
  • Build and develop a strong sales organization across new-logo and existing-customer revenue
  • Increase bookings and revenue while maintaining focus on profitable growth
  • Expand Strategic's relationships with existing customers and identify meaningful cross-sell opportunities
  • Strengthen relationships with key ERP vendors and strategic partners
  • Create a clear sales operating cadence with accountability across the organization
  • Build a sustainable foundation for continued growth

Why Join Strategic?

  • This is an opportunity to join a growing organization at an important stage of its evolution. The SVP of Sales will have significant influence over Strategic's growth strategy, sales organization, customer relationships, and overall commercial success. The right leader will have the opportunity to build, scale, and transform the sales function, while working closely with the CEO and executive leadership team in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strategic is an equal opportunity employer
