Overview:  

This position will be responsible for providing support to Mortgage Servicing, including both performing and non-performing loans completing more basic system administration responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities:     

  • Identify terminated users and ensure removal of their access. 
  • Complete user access provisioning for basic systems following established guidelines.
  • Complete table maintenance in basic systems.
  • Complete real-time validation to ensure work is properly completed for basic systems.
  • Facilitate basic user access recertifications
  • Participate in simpler projects impacting the Systems Administration team.
  • Participate in application testing for simpler system enhancements
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the business and its functions, processes and operations
  • Follow up on requests until completion
  • Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite.  Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
  • Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
  • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls.  Keep documentation accurate, organized, and up to date, and track changes to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned. ​

Education and Experience Required:

Associates degree and a minimum of 1 years' relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 3 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 1 years' relevant work experience

Experience working independently or functioning as a member of a team

Basic computer skills, including pertinent software

Proven analytical skills 

Proven problem-solving skills

Good written and verbal communication skills

Experience making decisions based on information provided

Education and Experience Preferred:

Bachelor's degree

Previous system administration experience

Previous banking experience

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $23.63 - $39.39 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
