About the Role
Lincoln is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team in New York City. This is a hands-on, on-site position supporting enterprise infrastructure environments across multiple clients. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating at both operational and escalation levels.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including:
- Server provisioning and hardware configuration
- OS patching, updates, and validation
- Performance monitoring and proactive optimization
- Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory environments, including:
- Group Policy administration
- User and security management
- Authentication and access control
- Support and maintain core network services:
- DNS and DHCP configuration and troubleshooting
- Network performance monitoring and issue resolution
- Administer Microsoft Azure environments, including:
- Azure AD management
- Virtual machine provisioning and support
- Cloud storage and infrastructure services
- Implement and maintain security best practices across all systems:
- Identity and access management
- Privileged access controls
- Compliance-driven configuration standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 / Tier 3 infrastructure issues, including:
- Root cause analysis of complex system issues
- Differentiation between system-level and network-related problems
- Escalation support for service delivery teams
- 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration or Infrastructure Engineering
- Advanced experience with Windows Server environments
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Active Directory (Group Policy, user management)
- DNS and DHCP
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure AD and IaaS workloads
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues independently
- Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools such as CyberArk
- Background in managed services (MSP) environments
- Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices
- Experience supporting multi-site or hybrid environments
- Location: Fully on-site in New York City
- This role requires hands-on access to infrastructure and direct collaboration with internal teams and clients
