What you’ll do
  • Build and evolve the Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning platform to support accounting, procurement, accounts payable, and financial planning workflows across the firm
  • Lead end-to-end configuration, enhancement, and release activities for financial modules, driving measurable improvements in process efficiency and data accuracy
  • Develop and deploy financial models, reporting packages, and planning templates in Adaptive Planning to accelerate budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis
  • Design and implement integrations and data pipelines between Workday, Adaptive Planning, and other financial systems to ensure reliable, timely data flow
  • Partner with finance stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical designs, configurations, and executable test plans
  • Create and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and automated data imports to eliminate manual work and increase visibility for finance leaders
  • Own support triage and incident resolution for financial applications, delivering timely root-cause analysis and long-term solutions
  • Produce clear documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials to scale adoption and operational self-sufficiency
  • Mentor analysts and collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to prioritize roadmap work and execute agile delivery cycles

What’s required
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science, information systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or financial systems roles
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting Workday Financials, including business process configuration, security model changes, and financial module maintenance
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining Adaptive Planning models, reports, and integrations
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining integrations between financial systems using APIs, file-based feeds, or integration tools
  • Proven experience creating advanced financial reports and automating data loads and imports for financial reconciliation and analysis
  • Practical experience applying the software development lifecycle and agile delivery practices to system changes and releases
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience translating business requirements into technical configurations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with finance, technology, and vendor teams

The annual base salary range for this role is $130,000-$160,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
