About the Role

We are seeking a smart, resourceful, and service-oriented Onsite Systems Engineer to provide white-glove technical support for a fast growing HVAC Private Equity client in the Bronx, NY. As the primary onsite resource, you’ll deliver hands-on desktop, network, and infrastructure support while collaborating with Network Doctor’s remote teams to ensure seamless service delivery. This role demands professionalism, agility, and confidence across a wide range of technologies. You don’t need to know everything—but you should know how to find solutions, ask the right questions, and leverage your team effectively.


You’ll be employed by Network Doctor, a leading Managed Services Provider (MSP) supporting hundreds of organizations nationwide, giving you access to a full team of experts so you’re never tackling complex challenges alone. The role onsite Monday - Friday from 9am-6pm (with an hour lunch) at the Bronx, NY location with occasional travel to Long Island, South CT, and Westchester County.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the onsite technical resource for our Private Equity client in the Bronx, NY.
  • Provide white-glove desktop, network, and infrastructure support for executives and staff.
  • Troubleshoot and administer Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, network infrastructure, and user workstations
  • Collaborate with Network Doctor’s remote teams for escalations, projects, and infrastructure initiatives.
  • Assist with IT projects such as migrations, network design, and disaster recovery implementations.
  • Maintain accurate ticketing, documentation, and asset inventory in ConnectWise.
  • Ensure consistent compliance with IT best practices, standards, and security requirements.
Qualifications

Required:

  • 4+ years of IT support or systems administration experience within a professional environment.
  • Experience supporting C-Suite and executive clients in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 cloud environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, professionalism, and customer service orientation.
  • Strong organizational skills, documenting, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience supporting remote access tools, backups, and cloud infrastructure.

Preferred:

  • MSP (Managed Services Provider) background.
  • Experience with the ConnectWise suite for ticketing and remote management.
  • Prior experience supporting high profile clients.
  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment such as servers or computers.
