The Systems Engineer will manage enterprise infrastructure, optimize performance, lead upgrades, and ensure system reliability and security in on-prem and Azure environments.
MedReview is looking for a hands-on Systems Engineer who thrives in owning and optimizing infrastructure across both on-prem and cloud environments. This role is critical to maintaining the performance security, and scalability of our core systems.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain enterprise infrastructure across on-prem and Azure environments
- Lead system upgrades, patching, and performance optimization initiatives
- Design and support disaster recovery and high availability environments
- Own VMware environments (vSphere/vCenter) and virtualization strategy
- Administer and optimize Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and identity systems
- Support storage environments (SAN/NAS) and troubleshoot performance issues
- Partner with internal teams to ensure system reliability, security, and scalability
- 5+ years of hands-on Systems Engineering experience
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (architecture, Entra ID, Intune, networking)
- Deep experience with VMware (vSphere/vCenter)
- Strong background in Active Directory & Windows Server environments
- Experience with storage systems (SAN/NAS) and infrastructure troubleshooting
- Proficiency with PowerShell or Azure CLI
- Experience with Cisco UCS or similar compute environments
- Exposure to security tools like CrowdStrike, Zscaler, or Mimecast
- Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Netwrix, etc)
- Healthcare or HIPPA-compliant environment experience
- VOIP and backup/storage solutions
- Someone who can operate independently and take ownership
- Strong problem-solver who can troubleshoot and fix issues end-to-end
- Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high accountability environment
