The Systems Integrator II, Power Monitoring Systems is responsible for the design, configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and support of electrical power monitoring systems with a primary focus on Schneider Electric Power Monitoring Expert (PME).

This position is primarily focused on PME engineering and support for mission critical facilities and data centers. The ideal candidate has hands on experience with power monitoring systems, electrical metering, device communications, alarming, reporting, system graphics, and troubleshooting.

The majority of this role is focused on Schneider Electric PME and EPMS applications. The remaining responsibilities include supporting the Windows Server, virtualization, database, storage, and network infrastructure required to operate these systems.

The Systems Integrator II will collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, field technicians, and customers to deliver reliable power monitoring and energy management solutions.

Essential Functions:

Schneider Electric Power Monitoring Expert and EPMS

• Design, configure, commission, upgrade, and troubleshoot Schneider Electric Power Monitoring Expert systems.

• Support PME 2022 and PME 2024 environments.

• Configure PME Management Console, device communications, logical devices, hierarchies, and system components.

• Develop and modify PME Vista graphics, diagrams, and system navigation.

• Configure alarms, events, dashboards, reports, and historical data collection.

• Configure and troubleshoot electrical meters and power monitoring devices connected to PME.

• Troubleshoot Modbus TCP/IP and serial communication issues between PME and field devices.

• Perform PME system upgrades, migrations, and server replacements.

• Support PME database maintenance and system performance troubleshooting.

• Investigate communication failures, data quality issues, missing historical data, and system alarms.

• Perform system commissioning, point verification, and device validation.

• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing, and customer witnessed testing as required.

• Provide remote and onsite troubleshooting support for customer PME and EPMS systems.

• Review electrical drawings, network diagrams, meter lists, and project specifications.

Systems and Infrastructure

• Configure and troubleshoot Windows Server environments supporting PME and EPMS applications.

• Support Hyper V virtual machine environments.

• Perform basic Microsoft SQL Server administration and troubleshooting.

• Support server and virtual machine migrations associated with PME system upgrades.

• Support backup and disaster recovery solutions.

• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues affecting power monitoring devices and application servers.

• Support Ethernet based industrial communication networks.

• Work with internal IT and network engineering teams when advanced infrastructure support is required.

General Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, system upgrades, troubleshooting, and site investigations.

• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and electronic project deliverables.

• Participate in customer meetings and technical discussions.

• Assist with the preparation of project proposals and review of plans and specifications.

• Document system changes and maintain accurate project records.

• Travel to customer sites as required.


Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of hands on experience with Schneider Electric Power Monitoring Expert or similar electrical power monitoring systems.

• Strong understanding of electrical power monitoring systems and metering applications.

• Experience configuring and troubleshooting device communications within a power monitoring system.

• Experience with system graphics, alarming, reporting, and historical data.

• Knowledge of Modbus TCP/IP and serial communications.

• Experience troubleshooting communication issues between software platforms and electrical metering devices.

• Working knowledge of Windows Server environments.

• Familiarity with virtual machines and virtualization technologies.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.

• Familiarity with Ethernet networking and IP based device communications.

• Experience supporting mission critical facilities or data centers is preferred.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to independently investigate and resolve technical issues.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to clearly document technical findings and system changes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Schneider Electric Power Monitoring Expert training or certification.

• Experience with PME 2022 or PME 2024.

• Experience performing PME upgrades and system migrations.

• Experience with Schneider Electric PowerLogic meters and electrical monitoring devices.

• Experience supporting power monitoring systems within data centers or mission critical facilities.

• Familiarity with Hyper V environments.

• Familiarity with storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.

• Familiarity with Cisco or similar networking environments.

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Automation, or a related technical field is preferred. Equivalent hands on industry experience will also be considered.

Salary Range: $46-$60hr DOE
