Description

About the role

Rylo is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist in NYC to help build the teams leading our next growth stage. You'll own end-to-end recruiting for GTM roles, partnering closely with hiring managers to define hiring strategies, build exceptional pipelines, and make outstanding hires.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who’s energized by building trusted partnerships with hiring teams, finding exceptional talent, and turning hiring needs into consistent recruiting execution while delivering an outstanding candidate experience.

The difference you will make

Build the talent engine. You’ll help Rylo identify, engage, and sign the people who will shape the company’s next chapter.

Raise the bar for hiring quality. You’ll bring rigor to sourcing, calibration, evaluation, and candidate communication so teams can make better hiring decisions.

Create momentum in priority searches. You’ll turn open roles into active pipelines, clear weekly progress, and strong candidate flow.

Represent Rylo in the market. You’ll often be a candidate’s first meaningful touchpoint with the company, and you’ll make that experience thoughtful, direct, and compelling.

Partner closely with hiring teams. You’ll translate role needs into sharp search strategies, structured processes, and practical next steps while challenging the hiring team to think outside the box and identify hidden potential.

Improve how hiring gets done. You’ll spot bottlenecks, tighten workflows, and help create recruiting systems that scale.

What you will do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for GTM roles, from intake through offer acceptance.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define hiring strategy, role requirements, search priorities, and evaluation criteria.
  • Build creative sourcing strategies and develop high-quality candidate pipelines.
  • Engage and assess candidates, delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout the process.
  • Drive interview processes, ensuring alignment, timely feedback, and fast hiring decisions.
  • Share market insights, pipeline health, and hiring recommendations with hiring managers.
  • Improve recruiting processes, tools, systems, and best practices to support a scalable hiring function.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting data and use it to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities.
  • Represent Rylo's brand with professionalism, authenticity, and care in every candidate interaction.
Requirements
  • You have 3+ years of in-house, full-cycle recruiting experience hiring GTM talent (Marketing, Growth, Business Development, Customer Support, Partnerships etc.).
  • You have experience recruiting in a fast-growing technology startup, ideally through a period of rapid scaling.
  • You’ve managed candidates through multiple stages of the recruiting process.
  • You know how to build pipelines from scratch, not just respond to inbound interest.
  • You’re strong at candidate outreach and can write messages that feel specific, credible, and human.
  • You’re comfortable partnering with hiring teams, asking clarifying questions, and pushing for alignment.
  • You can manage multiple searches, candidates, and priorities without losing track of details.
  • You communicate clearly, follow up quickly, and create trust with both candidates and internal partners.
  • You care about quality, not just volume, and you understand how to calibrate for strong hiring outcomes.
  • You’re organized in your systems, notes, pipeline tracking, and process management.
  • You bring good judgment, discretion, and professionalism to sensitive conversations.
  • You’re energized by an ownership-heavy recruiting role where your work directly affects the team Rylo builds.
  • This is a hybrid role based in New York City.
  • Compensation: $120,000 - $145,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Why this role matters

Hiring shapes everything Rylo can become while preserving our unique culture. In this role, you’ll help bring in the people who will build the company, define its standards, and expand what the team is capable of doing. If you’re excited by high-ownership recruiting, sharp teams, and the chance to make a visible impact through every search you run, this is a meaningful role to step into.
