⛰️ About Northslope

The generational companies of the next century will run on mission-specific AI software that compounds their competitive advantage, not commoditized SaaS. We purpose-build production AI applications that enable our customers to operate at the speed, scale, and margins of an enterprise software company, in any industry.

We're building something fundamentally different: software that's as adaptable as the businesses it serves, created by engineers who understand both code and customer.

🛠️ The Role

We're looking for a Talent Coordinator to own coordination end-to-end, keep communication sharp and timely, and act as the operational engine that keeps our hiring efforts running smoothly and at pace. This year, our recruiting team will hire approximately 100 technical roles, and you'll work alongside our existing hiring coordinator to ensure every interview, every candidate touchpoint, and every piece of communication runs flawlessly.

This is a high-impact role with lots of moving parts, requiring strong self-motivation, exceptional organization, and a natural bias toward action. You'll be passionate about delivering candidate experiences that reflect the quality of the teams we're building, and will partner closely with recruiters, interviewers, and hiring managers to drive positive hiring outcomes.

As part of a lean, high-performing talent team, you'll get exposure across the full recruiting lifecycle, help shape how we scale our hiring operations, and have room to grow quickly alongside the company.

🎯 What We're Looking For

  • 1-3+ years of experience in recruiting or talent coordination, executive support, or a fast-paced operational role

  • A genuine passion for hiring coordination and candidate experience

  • Proven ability to manage complex, high-volume scheduling with speed and thoughtfulness, balancing multiple competing priorities simultaneously

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to represent Northslope professionally to candidates at all levels

  • Comfort navigating shifting priorities and multitasking in an autonomous, ambiguous environment where the playbook is still being written

  • Outcome and growth-oriented mindset. You bias toward action, are eager to learn, improve processes, and contribute beyond your core responsibilities

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Tech-savviness and ability to quickly learn new tools and systems

  • Calm under pressure with the ability to maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude even during busy hiring sprints

🔍 Nice to Have

  • Experience coordinating technical hiring or working within a startup/high-growth environment

  • Familiarity with Ashby (our ATS), BrightHire, or other recruiting tools

  • Experience coordinating across multiple international time zones

💛 What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary + equity in the form of stock options

  • Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance

  • Flexible hybrid work environment

  • The opportunity to build sourcing strategies and processes from the ground up as we scale

  • Clear path to grow into a recruiting role or specialize further in sourcing depending on your interests

  • A small, tight-knit team where your pipeline directly impacts our ability to execute on our mission

  • Occasional travel (less than 10% of your time) for company off-sites where you'll connect with teams across our New York and London hubs

🌟 Why This Role Matters

First impressions matter, and for many candidates, you'll be their first real interaction with Northslope. The way you coordinate interviews, communicate updates, and handle logistics directly shapes whether top engineers want to join us or go elsewhere.

In a company planning to hire 100+ people this year, coordination isn't just administrative work, it's the foundation that makes everything else possible. When scheduling runs smoothly, recruiters can focus on sourcing and selling, hiring managers can focus on evaluating talent, and candidates have a seamless experience that reflects the quality of what we're building.

You'll be the person who ensures that exceptional candidates don't slip away because of poor communication or scheduling chaos. You'll be the operational backbone that allows our small recruiting team to move fast without breaking things. And as we scale, you'll have the opportunity to build the systems, processes, and potentially the team that coordinates hiring for a category-defining company.

🛸 Our Principles

  • Only Valuable Problems: Not every problem is worth solving. We work on the projects that will significantly improve our customers' bottom lines.

  • Outcomes, Not Activity: We create value, not extract it. We focus on our business impact, not racking up billable hours.

  • Forward Deployed Engineering: We never build in a vacuum. We go to the heart of the problem and build alongside our users.

  • One size fits none. Generic software fails the most important customers. We build for the specific — the exact industry, workflow, data, and competitive context of the company we're serving.

🚠 Why Northslope

At Northslope, we're built different. We take pride in being more like a product startup than a traditional services firm. We value velocity, ingenuity, and grit, and we relentlessly focus on delivering tangible outcomes for our customers.

We also have fun. We get to work on big, hard problems, in a fast-paced environment, alongside sharp yet kind teammates who help us continuously grow and delight in one another's successes. We offer full benefits and all the perks you'd expect of a modern tech startup, and are a distributed global team with hubs in London, New York, and UAE.

📬 We hope you’re excited to join us and look forward to speaking with you soon.

Northslope is committed to building a strong, diverse team. We believe teams with a diversity of lived experience, background, and perspectives create better outcomes for our customers and are just more enjoyable to be part of. We are committed to creating and living a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout our work. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, religion, disability, pregnancy, age, military status, marital status, genetic characteristics or information, gender, gender identity, gender variance, or sexual orientation.
