Job Description

At EisnerAmper, we look for individuals who welcome new ideas, encourage innovation, and are eager to make an impact. Whether you are starting out in your career or taking your next step as a seasoned professional, the EisnerAmper experience is one-of-a-kind. You can design a career you will love from top to bottom – we give you the tools you need to succeed and the autonomy to reach your goals.

The Tax Technology Program Manager will play a critical role in driving the successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives that support the evolving needs of the Tax function. This is an individual contributor (IC) role, but one that requires strong influential leadership and the ability to work across functional teams. The Project Manager will have indirect oversight of cross-functional resources, coordinating efforts across internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role that goes beyond traditional project execution. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with senior leadership to define project objectives and OKRs, especially for new or early-stage initiatives that require thoughtful framing and foundational planning. From business case development and vendor selection to implementation and post-go-live support, the Project Manager will be accountable for end-to-end project ownership and execution excellence.

The successful candidate will bring a balance of strategic thinking and operational rigor, with strong communication skills and the ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments. This role will be instrumental in advancing the Tax team’s digital transformation agenda while ensuring alignment with broader enterprise goals.

What it Means to Work for EisnerAmper:
  • You will get to be part of one of the largest and fastest growing accounting and advisory firms in the industry

  • You will have the flexibility to manage your days in support of our commitment to work/life balance

  • You will join a culture that has received multiple top “Places to Work” awards

    • We believe that great work is accomplished when cultures, ideas and experiences come together to create innovative solutions

    • We understand that embracing our differences is what unites us as a team and strengthens our foundation

    • Showing up authentically is how we, both as professionals and a Firm, find inspiration to do our best work

What Work You Will be Responsible For:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and business goals.

  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria; foster cross-functional collaboration, clear communication, and effective problem-solving.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, managing resources, timelines, and dependencies to drive successful execution and on-time delivery.

  • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and safeguard key milestones.

  • Manage project budgets with a focus on cost control and financial accountability; regularly report on project progress, risks, and achievements to senior leadership.

  • Perform check-ins with team members when needed.

  • Continuously improve project delivery practices, applying lessons learned and best practices to enhance efficiency, transparency, and outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience managing projects within enterprise environments

  • Experience with project management methodologies such as agile and/or waterfall

  • Skilled in functional Architecture Design Analysis

  • Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

  • PMP or equivalent certification

  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

About our Technology Team:

Technology is enhancing the ways we operate at every level of the firm, and the EisnerAmper Technology team is the driving force for that. Unlike your average IT team, you won’t find us simply administering technology but serving as strategic advocates to deliver solutions that bring measurable, positive change for all our clients.

Because we pivot fast and always embrace new perspectives, we’re creating a culture of technology across every department based on value and a true understanding of the business. By serving as partners to leaders throughout the organization, rather than as a resource, our Technology employees are accountable to each other and themselves to create a tangible impact based on results.

The way we see it, there is always something new we can start, stop doing, or reimagine. With this mentality, we don't let perfection get in the way of innovation. If you have a theory, you’ll have the autonomy to innovate, iterate, and collaborate to see it through. Because to us, there are no bad ideas—only avenues for us to grow as a team and individuals.

About EisnerAmper:

EisnerAmper is one of the largest accounting, tax, and business advisory firms, with approximately 450 partners and 4,500 employees across the world. We combine responsiveness with a long-range perspective; to help clients meet the pressing issues they face today and position them for success tomorrow.
