Role Overview

As Account Director, TAM (Demand), you will operate as a senior individual contributor responsible for the technical success of a small number of high-impact, tier 1 and tier 2 DSP partnerships, while also driving broader marketplace-level initiatives.

You will focus on complex, high-value partnerships where performance, integration quality, and signal fidelity have a meaningful impact on revenue. In parallel, you will identify systemic opportunities across the marketplace and help shape how Verve evolves its demand-side integrations.

This role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Product, and Commercial, requiring both deep technical expertise and strong strategic thinking.

The ideal candidate is a programmatic expert who can operate at a high level with partners while also diving deep into data, logs, and technical workflows.

This role is based in New York City with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office).

What You Will Do

  • Own the technical performance and integration quality of a small portfolio of tier 1 and tier 2 DSP partners

  • Act as the technical lead for complex, high-impact accounts, working closely with Commercial counterparts

  • Analyze bidstream data, logs, and large datasets to identify performance gaps and optimization opportunities

  • Lead advanced troubleshooting across the auction lifecycle including bid rate, win rate, discrepancies, IVT, and signal loss

  • Identify systemic issues and opportunities across the marketplace and drive solutions at scale

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities and improve integrations

  • Design and support testing frameworks for new signals, integrations, and optimization strategies

  • Drive improvements in key metrics such as bid efficiency, fill rate, and overall yield

  • Act as a subject matter expert on DSP behavior, auction dynamics, and marketplace performance

  • Standardize best practices and scalable solutions across the Technical Account Management function

  • Mentor and support TAMs & Sr. TAMs on complex issues

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 8+ years in programmatic advertising, ad tech, or a technical solutions role

  • Deep expertise in OpenRTB, DSP/SSP integrations, and auction mechanics

Core Skills

  • Ability to think systemically and identify marketplace-level opportunities

  • Advanced analytical skills with experience working across large datasets and multiple data sources

  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in ambiguous or complex environments

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority

  • Strong communication skills, able to translate technical insights into business impact

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Experience working on SDK-level integrations or signal frameworks

  • Familiarity with identity solutions and privacy-driven changes in the ecosystem

  • Experience influencing product roadmaps or leading cross-functional initiatives

  • Background in building scalable processes or technical frameworks
