Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Linux engineers and support team members to assess current sudo and root access practices.
- Work closely with users and managers across technology and business units to understand the necessity of elevated access.
- Partner with the security architect to design a future state for managing user access in Linux environments.
- Facilitate the full remediation process, including discovery, analysis, remediation planning, and scheduling, while ensuring thorough testing and validation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure understanding and compliance with access management policies.
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience as a Linux engineer, managing, supporting, and troubleshooting complex Linux environments.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently in production and enterprise settings.
- Deep understanding of Linux architecture, including kernel, system libraries, file systems, and process management.
- Strong knowledge of user and group management, permissions, and security best practices, ensuring systems are hardened and compliant with industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders and convey technical concepts clearly.
- Strong task management skills to coordinate and execute access management initiatives effectively.
- Experience with CyberArk, Centrify, and Ansible is a plus.
- Business analysis skills to understand and document business requirements related to access management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
