Job Title: Technical Change Manager 

Client Industry:  Information Technology

Location: Remote (U.S. based) - Preferred Locations: Sugar Land, TX | New York City, NY | Ashford-Dunwoody / Atlanta, GA area

Job Status: 6 months to start (potential for extension)

Summary:

Our client is seeking a Technical Change Manager with strong experience in enterprise change initiatives to support our growing Technology organization. This is a highly visible role requiring a seasoned professional who can confidently engage with senior IT and business stakeholders to drive the successful adoption of technology changes.  The ideal candidate is Prosci-certified, thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and can move seamlessly between developing strategic change frameworks and executing detailed change plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute change management strategies and plans across multiple IT programs and projects.
  • Partner with key stakeholders, including senior technology leaders, project teams, and business units to assess organizational impact and readiness.
  • Design and deliver communications, training, stakeholder engagement, and adoption strategies tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Assess and manage risks related to user adoption and resistance; recommend mitigation plans.
  • Develop KPIs and success metrics to track the effectiveness of change efforts.
  • Support portfolio-level change assessments to identify the cumulative impact across initiatives
  • Collaborate with Program and Project Managers to integrate change management into delivery roadmaps.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Prosci Change Management Certification (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of hands-on change management experience in enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience working within or alongside Technology or IT organizations.
  • Strong ability to partner with executive-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable flexing between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, particularly in technical environments.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience supporting change efforts in one or more of the following areas is a strong plus:
  • Microsoft / O365 deployments, Data center transformations, Cybersecurity initiatives, Identity & Access Management, AI / Machine Learning integrations

Additional Information:

This role is remote, but candidates local to Sugar Land, TX, NYC, or Atlanta, GA (Ashford-Dunwoody area) are preferred for occasional in-office collaboration
