You will be responsible for the support, implementation, and configuration of the SBS Substation Design
solutions, providing industry knowledge of Substation Design to guide customers to the best solution
matching their needs.
Substation Design consists of several products: Protection & Controls (P&C) design in AutoCAD Electrical, Physical for Inventor (P4I), Physical for AutoCAD (P4A), BIM Substation Designer (BSD) and several support toolsets, including but not limited to INEX (Inventor Export) and Admin Toolkit.
A successful candidate will be a self-starter that demonstrates excellent communication and problem-
solving skills with a strong affinity for technology and an ability to work with multiple teams to achieve
goals. This position is fully remote and will require travel to customer sites, industry events and
conferences.

Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Conducting and supporting customer implementation projects including proof of concepts, pilots, and long-term product implementations
- Gathering customer requirements for customer implementations, product improvements, and internal/external product support.
- Developing and maintaining training content for SBS Substation Products
- Conducting training (remote and in-person) for internal resources and external customers
- Creating and updating product documentation for new product releases and updates
- Performing product demos as needed
- Researching and suggesting product enhancements
- Managing and replying to product support tickets
- Designing and/or developing product enhancements
- Reporting product defects and bugs
- Testing product enhancements and defect fixes
- Creating product videos for instructional and educational purposes
- Developing and writing white papers for product and industry best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of drafting or design experience with AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor, and/or Revit products
- Minimum of 5 years of drafting or design experience with the SBS Protection and
- Control toolset, Physical for Inventor, or Physical for AutoCAD
- Minimum of 3 years of utility engineering, design, and/or operating experience
- A 2-year or 4-year degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- Understanding of programming languages and databases
- Understanding of document management solutions
- Project management experience
- Experience in developing and documenting new and existing processes
- Availability to travel to customer sites and industry conferences
Preferred Qualifications:
- Progressive high-voltage substation design experience
- Experience with the following software preferred: Autodesk AutoCAD Map 3D,
- Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical, Autodesk Vault, Autodesk Revit, and Autodesk Civil 3D
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, software development, program
- development and test-driven processes.
- General understanding of the electric distribution, transmission, and substation design domains
- Technically qualified applicants should also have the following personal and team skills:
- Motivated self-starter, able to prioritize tasks
- Comfortable providing classroom style technical instruction to both new and intermediate users of the company's products
- Comfortable supporting sales and customer development processes by providing
- technical product demonstrations
- Strong problem diagnostic and resolution skills
