Technical Product Manager
Location: Remote (US)
Team: Product
Experience: 3+ years in AdTech Product Management
Reports to: Head of Product Management

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager (TPM) who blends deep AdTech domain knowledge with hands-on experience across bidders, ad servers, data pipelines, integrations, APIs, and complex measurement systems. You will own and help define several foundational components of JamLoop’s product ecosystem, with a primary focus on bidder evolution, ad-serving and pacing capabilities while also leading the evolution of our data transfer product and strategic integrations.

This role is ideal for someone who can go deep technically, provide clear direction to engineering teams, and partner closely with Business Development, Campaign Management, and other Product Managers to turn customer and partner needs into scalable, extensible, and adopted solutions. This person will complement our existing PM Team by taking the lead on high-complexity, architectural, and integration-heavy initiatives, particularly where bidder behavior, measurement, and data systems intersect.

As CTV continues to converge with new-age performance channels, this role will also help ensure JamLoop’s products feel intuitive and familiar to buyers coming from platforms like Google, Meta and other Ads Manager-driven ecosystems, while still leveraging JamLoop’s deep TV and measurement foundations.

Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of Product Management experience in AdTech, ideally across buy-side platforms
- Deep understanding of ecosystems including DSPs, SSPs, bidders, ad servers, ads managers and identity graphs
- Strong technical fluency in:
- APIs and web hook design
- ETL/data pipelines, S3, SFTP, Snowflake, and cloud data platforms
- Authentication models (OAuth, API keys)
- Data modeling and schema design
- Demonstrated success building integrations with analytics, measurement, audience or e-commerce platforms
- Ability to write clear technical requirements, architecture-compatible specs, and data documentation
- Proven ability to work effectively with engineering teams in agile environments
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving problem spaces with incomplete information

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Bidder and Ad Serving Evolution
  • Act as the product owner for the Bidder team, helping define the technical and strategic direction as JamLoop’s bidding capabilities become more advanced.
  • Lead the scope, design, and delivery of:
  • Next-gen bidding strategies, including incrementality-aware bidding where control groups are intentionally unexposed, but recorded for lift analysis
  • Bidder-side data ingestion and enrichment, incorporating household graph signals, offline conversion data, and third-party measurement inputs
  • Ad-serving and pacing capabilities, ensuring predictable delivery, budget control, and alignment with incrementality and attribution goals.

  • Own Strategic Partner & BizDev Handoffs
  • Work closely with Business Development to evaluate, scope, and productize strategic partnerships
  • Serve as the clear product owner from deal signing through delivery, ensuring:
  • Technical feasibility is validated early
  • Requirements are well-defined before engineering execution
  • There is a clear path from partnerships, to shipped capability, to customer adoption
  • Prevent “signed but stalled” partnerships by owning prioritization, execution plans, and success metrics

  • Push the Evolution of JamLoop’s Data Transfer Product
  • Own and standardize JamLoop’s Data Transfer (Custom Export) product, ensuring best-practice design and customer self-service around:
  • S3 bucketsSFTP
  • Snowflake Shares
  • Signed URLs and automated delivery
  • Define standardized schemas, metadata, versioning, and delivery protocols to ensure reliability, scalability, and ease of integration for customers and partners.
  • Collaborate with engineering to improve automation, monitoring, error handling, and observability.

  • Build High-Quality Integrations
  • Lead product efforts for integrations with:
  • Analytics platforms (GA4 and others)
  • Commerce platforms (Shopify and others)
  • BI Tools
  • Measurement & Attribution partners
  • Audience & Data Vendors
  • Define API contracts, event schemas, authentication models, and data mappings that scale across customers and verticals.

  • Cross-Functional Product Leadership
  • Work closely with other PMs, Engineering, Data, and the Campaign Management organization to ensure:
  • We are solving the right customer problems, not just shipping features
  • Capabilities are usable, measurable, and operationally sound
  • Ensure every product you own has:
  • A clear launch and rollout plan, Defined success metrics
  • Ongoing iteration until real customer adoption is achieved

  • Strong Writing & Product Craftsmanship
  • Produce clear, concise product requirements, technical specs, and documentation. Write with the mindset that strong writing leads to strong alignment, better decisions, and faster execution.
  • Treat product as an ongoing responsibility, not something that ends at launch
