Program Manager - Certification & Compliance

Location(s): New York / Kansas

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives and work closely with our software and platform engineering teams. This critical role will drive program execution while ensuring seamless collaboration across technical teams.

What You Will Get to Do

  • Lead Program Initiatives: Manage end-to-end programs, ensuring timely achievement of organizational goals and deliverables
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software engineering and platform engineering teams to align program requirements with technical roadmaps
  • Program Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive program plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to meet key milestones
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders throughout program execution
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact program timelines or outcomes
  • Documentation & Process Management: Oversee the creation and maintenance of program documentation and ensure process compliance
  • Process Improvement: Establish and refine processes to improve program efficiency and scalability
  • Reporting: Provide regular status updates to leadership on program progress, risks, and dependencies

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience in technology organizations
  • Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional programs involving engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of software development, lifecycle and platform engineering concepts
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in fast-paced environments
  • Experience with program management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent program management certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications (Strong Plus)

  • Direct experience managing certification processes such as:
    • SOC 2 Type I/II
    •  ISO 27001, ISO 9001, or other ISO certifications
    • FedRAMP, FISMA, or other government compliance frameworks
    • HITRUST, PCI-DSS, or industry-specific certifications
    • Common Criteria, FIPS 140-2/3, or security certifications
  • Experience working with external auditors and certification bodies
  • Background in compliance, security, or quality assurance programs
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in highly regulated industries
  • Experience implementing and maintaining continuous compliance programs
  • Familiarity with GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools
  • Previous work in security-focused or mission-critical environments

Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.

New York: The expected base salary for the position is between 130,000 USD to 140,000 USD.

In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company’s discretion.
