About the Role:

The Project Coordinator supports the delivery of data center projects by coordinating schedules, documentation, and communication across engineering, construction, vendors, and internal stakeholders. • Lead the coordination of project schedules, site meetings, and vendor walkthroughs, ensuring all logistics align with project timelines.
  • Own the tracking of milestones and action items, proactively identifying and mitigating risks or dependencies.
  • Maintain project documentation, including drawings, submittals, RFIs, change logs, and commissioning records.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for contractor and vendor coordination to ensure technical requirements are met on-site.
  • Monitor project timelines and flag schedule, scope, or cost risks.
  • Manage site access coordination and change management activities with minimal oversight.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports and dashboards.
  • Ensure projects follow PMO standards, safety requirements, and data center operational procedures.
  • Support turnover activities, including as-built documentation, O&M manuals, and handoff to operations teams.
  • The role is performed across office, construction site, and data center environments.
  • Occasional travel up to 20% to active data center sites may be required.
  • Flexibility for extended hours or weekend support is necessary during critical project milestones or cutovers.
Who You Are:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-4 years of experience in project coordination within construction, infrastructure, or mission-critical environments.
  • Proven track record of managing project workflows with high degrees of autonomy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard project management platforms (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Primavera, Jira, or similar)
  • Capacity to effectively prioritize and manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic, high-availability operational setting
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining operational continuity in a mission-critical environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and operations personnel.
  • Proactively identify and communicate potential project risks or issues to management.
  • A professional and accountable mindset focused on process adherence and successful project delivery.
Preferred:
  • Previous experience within data center, critical facilities, or mission-critical construction environments.
  • Familiarity with essential power and cooling systems (UPS, generators, CRAC/CRAH, PDUs).
  • Knowledge of commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST), or project turnover processes.
  • Possession of a CAPM, PMP, or relevant construction-related certification.
  • Demonstrated understanding of safety and compliance protocols in critical facilities.
