Technical Project Coordinator
Location: Chicago - Remote
JOB SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of cybersecurity and technology consulting engagements. Operating at the intersection of people, process, and technology, this role ensures project logistics, documentation, and scheduling run smoothly across multiple workstreams. At Pearl, no two days look the same — you need to be adaptable, proactive, and ready to jump in wherever the team needs you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain project plans, trackers, and status dashboards across cybersecurity and technology engagements
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder touchpoints with client teams spanning Banking, Healthcare, Government, and Manufacturing
- Track action items, risks, and issues; escalate blockers to the project or program manager
- Prepare meeting notes, status reports, and project artifacts tailored to client context
- Support resource onboarding and coordinate logistics across cross-functional project teams
- Assist with invoice tracking, budget monitoring, and procurement documentation
- Maintain organized, version-controlled project documentation accessible to all team members
- Flex into supporting areas outside your core role as business needs evolve — agility is expected
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree preferred — equivalent experience in a project support or coordination role is welcome
- 1–3 years of experience in a project support or coordination role; consulting or tech firm experience a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, ServiceNow)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication — comfortable interfacing with both technical and business stakeholders
- Certifications such as CAPM, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma are a great to have
- Startup-ready mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, fast-moving environments, and evolving priorities
