The Technical Project Manager oversees cybersecurity and technology projects from planning to delivery, focusing on stakeholder management and project governance.

Location: Chicago - Remote
JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity and technology consulting engagements. This role owns end-to-end project governance, stakeholder management, and team coordination across service areas such as IAM, Network Security, TVM, OCM, and GRCP. Clients span regulated, high-stakes industries — our PMs bring both structured rigor and startup-level adaptability to every engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for cybersecurity and technology engagements
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, RAID logs, and governance frameworks
- Lead project team meetings, client check-ins, and executive status briefings across industries including Financial Services, Healthcare, and Government
- Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues; escalate appropriately to program leadership
- Manage day-to-day client relationships and serve as the primary operational point of contact
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams integrating technical cybersecurity delivery, OCM, and program management
- Report on project health, financials, and milestone progress to leadership and client stakeholders
- Flex into adjacent responsibilities as needed — agility is expected
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree preferred — equivalent professional experience in project management is welcome
- 3–5 years of project management experience in consulting, cybersecurity, or professional services
- Proficiency in MS Project, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or equivalent project management tools
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Ability to manage concurrent projects across technical and non-technical workstreams
- PMP or CAPM certification is a great to have; Scrum Master or Lean Six Sigma also valued
- Startup mindset — comfortable building process where none exists and pivoting quickly when priorities shift
